Wearing this brace at night really helped with my hand going to sleep at night from bending at the elbow for long periods. It's a little uncomfortable but only because it feels odd to sleep with a straight arm.

So yes, this brace is not all together comfortable and did take a few nights to get used to wearing it. However, after a couple of weeks of wearing it to bed, my elbow pain drastically decreased. I haven't had to wear it in a few weeks, it helped that much. A funny story- I purchased 2, 1 for each elbow as I have a C7 compression which affects the arms and elbows most. I don't really need to wear it on both arms, as I quickly found out on night one. I had put them on, and I couldn't move my arms. I was like the little brother in "A Christmas Story" after their mom put him in his snow suit. My arms were sticking out, and I couldn't bend them. I stood there swaying them back and forth, laughing my butt off.

Very well made immobilizing splint/brace. It just didn't work for my particular torn bicep injury and cervical spinal nerve pain. A firm hold. I returned for a refund.

It keeps my arm straight when awake & probably a majority of the time when I sleep, but loose or snug, it doesn’t stop me from bending my elbow; it only adds resistance. I still experience numbness and pain first thing in the morning but it has only been few days as it’s also unrealistic to expect it to heal it immediately. Second, the 2nd tightening strap is on the inside of the elbow, which is where the ulnar nerve gets pinched (ie not the best location for fastening,. Third, while far less important, if you have furry friends, the material is like scotch tape for fur & hair. Fourth, a hard outer Shell with a gap at the inner elbow would’ve been helpful.

I had surgery for Carpal tunnel and also cubital tunnel/ ulnar nerve transposition on my left arm all on March 5. My surgery didn’t go well and Im on the road to a long recovery. It’s been very hard sleeping every night as you can imagine. 2 months went by and I was about losing my mind with no sleep because I just could not get my arm in a comfortable position. Throughout the day I tend to protect it a lot, and bend my arm more then straighten it which is a huge problem. I finally decided to order this brace and see if maybe it would help me with this issue when I sleep. Since I can’t seem to straighten my arm during the day, maybe slowly at night it will start to get straighter. Well the very first night I wore it I slept so comfortably, so soundly, so amazingly, and I just wished I had ordered it sooner. The brace is so soft on inside. If you follow the directions on how to exactly wear it then I think you will love it too. It’s not meant to fit tightly. Doesn’t need too. It will not allow you to bend your arm at all if worn correctly. Its kept my arm from going into awkward positions that I would normally do. It’s helped straighten my arm quite a bit. My physical therapist says it’s a definite keeper. And if she says so then I know it’s good. It’s never caused me any pain or discomfort, just the opposite. I have had it now for a couple weeks and I just LOVE IT!!!

This is the second brace that I've tried for my cubital tunnel at night and it's the one that works. This brace has three stays to keep your elbow straight at night with minimal movement. The three Velcro straps allows you to adjust the fit as needed. It's made of soft neoprene which makes it durable and longer lasting. This brace is a little bit more money but, worth every penny if you don't want your elbow to bend at night.

This is so stiff and has no give. That might be good if you want to be completely immobile, but it caused immediate pain in my shoulder if I tried to do anything. I wore it one time. Didn’t work for me at all.

I'm not sure why this works but it does. I had pain in my outside elbow area a small section that hurt from just above my elbow to a few inches below it on my forearm "self diagnosed tennis/golf elbow since I dont play tennis". I started using this brace at night while sleeping and in about 4 or 5 day my pain was substantially reduced. I've sent it to 2 friends now cause it works.

Yo lo compre porque al doblar el codo se me entumían mis dedos de las manos, y me recomendaron usar uno para reducir ese dolor. Y si funciono de maravilla, está hecho de buen material, para nada me queda ajustado, es más, puedes hacerlo más grande o pequeño depende tu preferencia. Algo que había visto de otros productos es que los metales que se encuentran en los lados se salían o se movían, para nada eso sucede con este, y no se me mueve al dormir.

Poor quality.. didn't last long.

Lo necesito para mi hija tiene síndrome de rett y tiene movimiento involuntario de sus manos y se muerde las manos cuando está muy ansiosa así que tengo que inmovilizar sus manos por ratos
