Love it

I am lowering my grade due to this console being a replacement for one that failed.I have now had two weather stations two consoles and an outdoor camera fail.This new console was $177.00 and the cost of keeping this station up and running keeps climbing.I wish they would build a system that would last!Replacing components to keep my station running is becoming very expensive.

I've gone through two failed units in 3 years. The first was in-warranty, the second was out of warranty. Clearly not a well-engineered or well-built product.You're much better off buying the Ambient Weather ObserverIP Module for less than 1/3 of the price. It'll connect your weather station to the internet where you can view live data on Weather Underground or your platform of choice.

I loved this display and it lasted four years. The outdoor sensor array only lasted two years but was replaced for $80.This Ambient Weather display is laid out perfectly. Everything you want or need is instantly available and it's easy to calibrate and is fairly stable on Wunderground but it will drop the internet connection every so often but that may be my internet connection and not the fault of the display. All in all, I loved it and then it broke my heart, After 4 years of solid service I noticed that the startup screen was displayed. The display wouldn't boot up. It turned on but would not go beyond the startup screen. I called Ambient and Anthony said press the reset button (a feature I wasn't aware of) but doing so did absolutely nothing. $189.00 to replace on Amazon? I don't think so. I'd probably pay $90-$100 for one but not $200 with tax. I'll look for a more reliable product and manufacturer. These prices are the equivalent of spending more than $100.00 a year on maintenance. Shame on Ambient!

This replaced me old console. My old console was warranted for two years.... It broke down after twenty five months. Doesn't it make you wonder if they built a timer into it's programming? Then I'm told this new console fixes the problem that caused my old one to stop working. Wait, they knew there was a problem and did nothing? But the new console works fine! Just as good as the old one. Check back in twenty six months 😖

Easy to set up and start monitoring remotely, not sure about longevity yet, stay tuned.

First console lasted 14 months. Warranty 12 months. 2nd try and then I will look for something else
