EtonRechargeable & Solar Powered Wireless Bluetooth Sound System & Smartphone Charger

I purchased this with the  AGPTEK 70hr MP3 Player  back in July to use for camping and it was great until the speaker mysteriously stopped working in September. Thankfully it comes with a 1yr warranty so I'm trying to get it replaced now. Also, the rubber cover on the back fell off within a week, so I've had to take extra care to never get it wet. The solar panel is also prone to scratching, so you might want to get a screen protector or plastic sheet to keep it from getting scuffed.EDIT: After several months of trying, I haven't been able to get any response whatsoever from support. After charging for two and half hours, it would power on. After “weeks” and many e-mails I did get an RMA (return merchandise authorization). The only thing it must be returned to a USA address not a Canadian address from where it came from. So I am not happy with Amazon Canada . Eton support is the worst!! So, I’m now waiting on the new unit. Hopefully it will work. Be very careful

We selected this speaker to generally leave outside with our garden swing and table. It doesn’t receive a huge amount of direct light but keeps a full charge. Although it’s not left directly in the rain it has weathered a number of storms and works great. Sound is as expected from this type of unit, nothing spectacular but not bad either.

Très bon achat. Après avoir effectué mes recherches, j'ai choisi cet appareil pour le bord de la piscine. Résistant aux chocs et à l'eau (pluie et éclaboussures), se recharge à l'énergie solaire et peut recharger un téléphone, possibilité de prendre et de faire des appels, entrée auxiliaire pour branchez les appareils non bluetooth, prise usb et mini usb, facile d'utilisation et abordable quoi demander de plus ? Les critiques que j'ai entendues concernaient le son. Bon, ok, si vous voulez la perfection sonore n'achetez pas ce modèle mais en même temps, n'échappez pas votre Bose, Dr.Beats, craignez l'humidité et n'espèrez pas qu'ils se rechargent tous seuls ou qu'ils rechargent votre téléphone en panne en camping... Pour ma part je trouve le son satisfaisant et assez fort pour taper sur les nerfs des voisins, les basses, la clarté, la force, très bien pour moi, je ne m'attendais pas à un si bon son compte tenu de la polyvalence de l'appareil. MON SEUL chagrin est que l'on ne peut pas avancer ou reculer les plages sonores, il faut le faire à partir de votre téléphone, ipad ou lecteur mp3. Bref je suis vendu à ce petit objet et bravo Eton...

Fantastic little unit. For two tiny stereo speakers, it's reasonably loud and crisp. I control the bass with my CD walkmanbass boost that I've outfitted with a little rechargeable Bluetooth transmitter which works super. Very easy to pair with an iPhone. The USB port runs and charges anything from an iPhone to a little fan or LED light. It easily charges from solar in a window and even under just a lamp; otherwise, it charges from any USB port or USB AC adapter which can be purchased for +/- $10 or found in a power strip. Can't say enough good things about the Rugged Rukus. Have bought one for me and two as gifts - everyone thrilled and getting 5-8 hours of playback. How sweet is no batteries to buy?Highly recommend the Rugged Rukus.
