Great product, but could use better instructions and guidance for instillation
Safety covers have many advantages over covers what are weighted down by water bags. The advantage of safety is paramount, and they just look so much better. The simplicity of the tarp and the water bags means that instillation is a snap and it is quick. With a safety cover, even with a simple rectangular pool, there is the challenge of lining everything up and drilling the holes for the anchors. So, very happy with the product, but was not impressed with the brevity of the instillation instructions. So, I recommend this product, high quality materials, well packed, nothing missing, etc., but spend some time on the internet and read about anchoring into different materials, how to do the buckles, etc. You'll be good to go, and very happy with the result. When I look down on this nice tight blue cover, keeping leaves, pine cones, pine straw, sticks, you name it out of the pool during the winter months, it gives me enormous satisfaction. Re: Drilling into concrete pavers with a hammer drill. It will take forever to drill a 2 inch, 3/4" hole into a concrete paver using a regular drill. Eternity. Keep in mind, you'll need to drill 30 holes. A hammer drill makes short work of it. You'll read that there is a risk of cracking the pavers. There is. But, I only cracked one, and that was down by the pool equipment when I was trying out my new drill. Here is what you do. Use a slow to medium speed on the drill, hold the drill straight, withdraw the bit every few seconds, have someone with you to vacuum the dust as you're drilling, and slow down even more as you get to the correct depth. When you hammer in the anchor, make sure you lubricate it with silicone, and use steady taps with the hammer to drive the anchor into the concrete. The one paver I cracked on the deck occurred when I got too aggressive hammering in the anchor. Take it slow and steady and it will be OK.

Good product, ok price, work to install, but worth it.
Just installed yesterday. Directions were ok but I'd also recommend watching some videos online. It's work to install it. Took roughly 3 hours (my wife and I) but saved me $1500. I would also recommend you have a heavy duty hammer drill. I had a cheap one, burned it up on 4th of 22.-3/4" holes that I had to drill 2" in concrete. Went and bought a dewalt drill. Ended up finishing the job with it but grease was leaking out of the drill by the end of the job. Again do yourself a favor and have a heavy duty drill. Also instructions say start at corners. I took a different approach and worked from the middle straps outward to the corners. I did a couple and then switched sides and did a couple on opposite side. Did this until all I had left was corners. This ensured I had no slack between straps. This method worked great. Price on cover was fair. Only complaint is that the price was at $539. After I purchased I went back to the ad to read something and the price had dropped for the remaining units by almost $100. Felt a bit scammed but I fixed that.....Only time will tell on durability.

Excellent Quality. There Should Be More Overlap Though.
I ordered the 16 x 32 for my 16 x 32 pool. The cover measures 18 x 33. That gives it a 12 inch overlap for each side in the width, but only 6 inches for each side in the length. That is not enough! I thought this cover would overlap 18 inches. 12 inches is OK but 6?? It will barely fit over the coping and there is zero room for error. It is quality material and the complete kit with anchors and springs is high quality. So why skimp a few inches on the length of the material. Be very careful when measuring and ordering. I would order the next size up since there is barely any overlap.Update: After 1 season the cover looks great. Installation was easy.

Great value - a solid dependable cover
I purchased this cover for a built-in above ground pool with wooden deck. Had to purchase additional anchors as the concrete ones don’t work in wood but that’s fine. All parts were included. Overall the cover is very good quality. The cover itself is sturdy and has good reinforcements at the straps and has an additional rubber strip where the straps come in contact with the pool edges. I installed it myself and although it took long (I was solo) it was not difficult to do. My only advice - measure properly and work slowly starting at the corners, then the middle at the length of the pool and then finally the straps at the width (which tightens up the cover). Cover looks great and I believe will last some time. The added bonus was not paying the $2500 my local pool company quoted me. Very satisfied and would recommend to others.

Fits and looks great
Easy to install with the right tools. I had recently purchased an impact drill for another project and it came in handy when mounting the brass anchors. I completed the task by myself in about 3 hours. Pool size: 20’ x 40’.We had quite a bit of ice this winter so far and though it sagged like crazy from the sheer weight of the ice, once it melted, it bounced back as if nothing ever happened. Amazing!UPDATE: 2 seasons after purchase and still going strong.I bought the same size for the same sized pool and there’s approximately 18” extra on each side not including the straps. You’ll want to make sure you have ample room to extend the straps a minimum of 12” past the edge of the cover. I only had to cinch the straps a couple of times at the end of the season. Once it gets COLD, the cover will tighten like a drum. I’m 6’2” at about 210 pounds and I was able to walk across it with no issue. Highly recommended.

If you know what you're getting into, it's great.
Install is a bit of a chore, but you're drilling into concrete. It's not going to be easy and it's not their fault. The cover is extremely durable. Mine lasted six years in VA before I needed a new one. It comes off on labor day and goes back on memorial day. That's with my three dogs often running / playing on it - and I felt 100% safe with them on it. I am replacing it now (with the same one) that it's showing the smallest amount of wear. I feel I could use it another six years without issue if my dogs didn't play on it. Great cover.

Great Cover. 3 winters going strong.
I'm just coming to the end of winter #3 since buying this cover. With the cost I didn't set the bar very high with quality expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. The cover holds up well through the winter. From what I can tell the quality is equal to my neighbours who paid 3x the price for his cover.

16 by 32 Blue Wave safety cover was perfect
It’s what I expected everything was there. Maybe one thing I expected ties every 4 ft however I’m glad it was the way it was just a few less holes to drill. I also have a centre support straddling across the centre to help with the snow load. So it worked well . All installed drilled 1 inch holes into 1 1/2 in. thick flag stone with diamond core cutter and drill rig. Placed the anchors into I inch copper pipe about 3-4 inches long and either epoxies them in or used hydraulic cement or both depending on the situation. Worked perfect. Instructions and template measurements was dead on.
