Didn't work for us.
Don't understand why you have to wet the sticky side because it doesn't stick very well if you do that. Anyway, I followed the instructions. Result: my son managed to bite the "crib guard" off and eat the paint from the crib. Next time, I won't be buying this type of crib, but since I already have this one, any other recommendations on how to cover this side of the crib???

Thought we liked it and it worked great and was invisible for ...
Put this on 2 weeks ago. Went on well and dried well. Thought we liked it and it worked great and was invisible for about a week and a half. A few days ago holes showed up where our son had chewed through and chunks were hanging on by threads. Yeah our son is teething hard, but YIKES. We removed it with a hairdryer immediately, and found it tore off in pieces as we tried to slowly peel it off with the dryer, another alarming factor. Liked the idea and invisibility, but didn't work out and seemed a bit more hazardous than we thought from other reviews.

CHOKING HAZARD!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!
I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS PRODUCT IS BEING SOLD AS SAFE. IT IS A CHOKING HAZARD!!!!!!!!! would give this product -5 stars if I could. My daughter chewed a whole through the invisible crib guard and swallowed a corn flake size piece of plastic causing her to CHOKE until her eyes became bloodshot. She finally vomited to clear her airway. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS PRODUCT IS BEING SOLD AS SAFE. IT IS A CHOKING HAZARD!!!!!!!!! Also, when I removed the product according to the directions, it badly damaged my $600 crib!!!!!Worst Amazon purchase EVER!!!!I will be asking for a refund.

... on the crib than I thought but they are nice and I like that you really can't see them ...
They took a little more effort to put on the crib than I thought but they are nice and I like that you really can't see them when they are on. My crib rales are curved too so it did take a little more effort to get it on right and I had to cut it a bit so it didn't crinkle because of the curves. Would be much easier on a straight crib. My baby isn't chewing on the crib yet so I'm not sure how it holds up to that yet. The directions were easy to follow and does say it's easy to remove but I haven't tried that.

Invisible, yes. Guards? Not so much.
Invisible, yes. But does it guard? Not so much. I've had this product for almost a week now. I like that it's invisible and does not hide the beauty of the design of the crib. It was easy to apply - reminds me of applying a screen protector on a phone. However, my baby still bites on the crib rail and this guard does not prevent marks or indentations left behind by his teeth, which was my main concern and why I bought this product. Looks like I will most likely succumb to buying those ugly fabric covers.

Fits curved rails, but my little one chewed through it.
I could not find anything to fit on the curved rails of our crib so I decided to give this a try. It was easy to get on but did take a bit of time because of the design of the rails on our crib. However had this on the crib for maybe a month, probably less and my little one chewed through it already. It is now useless and I have zip tied towels to the side rails because I have not found anything else that would even fit. In the photos the exposed wood to the left was from before putting this guard on and the exposed wood to the right is the spot my little one chewed through the guard to get to the crib. Right now my little one had eight teeth, four on top and four on the bottom.

Pretty good.....
I'll preface my review by saying that I've never has to look into crib guards before, so I didn't know what was on the market to prevent your little one from chewing his/her bed for every meal. Last week, my second child (12 months old) suddenly started gnawing on one side of her crib - a lot. So, after about an hour of research, I decided to try these strips, mostly because I wanted an easy, inexpensive solution that did not involve permanently defacing my attractive, modern crib or tying loads of ugly fabric (fabric crib guards - which costs upwards of $50) since I don't even know how long this phase will last. Since my baby has so far only showed interest in chewing one side of her crib, I've only applied one of these strips to that side, and so far it's holding up great. It's barely visible, and seems to hold up to her chewing. The application process was not as painless as the reviews claim - for me, anyway. It's basically like applying a very long decal, and I have a lot of experience with decals, having done two nurseries covered with them. The instructions are easy and straight-forward, all you need is a spray bottle, some water, and a few drops of a baby shampoo. The annoying part comes in when you're trying to make sure that the strip covering the crib rail lays straight, with equal amount of overhang, which is pretty hard. If you're not a perfectionist like me, maybe you won't mind if you don't get it perfectly straight. But the second annoying part is getting out all the air bubbles, which took me what seems like forever. Again, if you don't mind a few air bubbles on your crib, this won't be an issue for you (once the material dries and cures, they are much less visible too). I haven't yet had to take these strips off, which will be another big test of this product. However, so far I'm happy with these and it seems to the only product like this on the market. Good job Mama Knows, it's about time!

This was the hardest thing I have put on! ...
This was the hardest thing I have put on! I am no stranger to applying stickers or large vinyl. I have put large vinyl as big as 40 foot by 20 feet with less bubbles. I sure hope my son can't chew this off
