I bought the ds3 bulbs for my audi q5. do i need to buy the convertor harness as well?

Some cars like Dodge require a resister harness as the led-type headlights use less amperage and it often causes them to flicker without. Unless someone familiar with Audi says you need to use a aux resister harness, I would try it without and see first. If you notice the lights seem to flicker, then add the harness.

Actually yes. A 9005 connector will fit in a 9006. But a 9006 will not fit in a 9005.
