I had a 5 stage filter under my sink for about a year, and I had no complaints at all. However, I wanted to run my large humidifier every day as the humidity here in New Mexico is always hovering around 15-20%. I was recently reprimanded by my HVAC technician after using an ultrasonic humidifier with the filtered water because I was effectively clogging my air filter which was tripping my HVACs high limit switch. Long story short, after a little research I discovered this RO+DI filter and haven't looked back. It was a breeze to install. I am glad they tightened the filters prior to shipping (I didn't check them in advance but had a feeling they were tight). I only needed a couple splitters from Lowe's for my ice maker line and a pressure regulator to drop my 85psi pressure to 60psi. Customer service was wonderful (Oscar answered all my questions prior to ordering). I hope this will last long before needing new filters. A++

I purchased this roughly 9 months ago, and it works very well. When you install it, don't use the puncture style saddle valve that comes in the kit. You won't get proper water pressure or flow. Use a proper T-connector, that reduces your supply line, to a 1/4". If using for aquarium purposes, I strongly suggest installing a TDS monitor to know with certainty when to change the DI fluid bed.This unit doesn't accept the common 10" carbon block, or sediment filter cartridges, so the question then becomes "where do I buy replacement filters?". A quick search on Amazon doesn't give any adequate results for the C10 filter it calls out. The best you'll find is CB10 or CBC10, and none have dimensions or pictures of the end caps, which makes buying those a toss up. They are available on filterdirect.com, and are reasonably priced. The SF05 sediment cartridge is also available, and it specifically calls out the Koolermax brand.

Great unit and easy to install. Easy to put my own flush on it. 252 TDS down to 0. At 75 psi I was not able to get one to one ratio, more like 2 to 1 but still really good compared to higher priced units. 47 min to fill 4 gallons RO vs 21 min for waste for 4 gallons. Highly recommend

I got this for my saltwater tank setup it is very convenient. The water pressure gauge is a must and works great.

I use this to make RO/DI water for my aquarium. It installed in minutes. I used the supplied garden hose connector on my garage utility sink so I can easily remove it when I’m not using it. And the built in pressure gauge is a great addition. You need a minimum of 45 psi to use it. If you don’t have that you can buy a pump to get you up to pressure. 5 stars in my opinion.

Good product. I guess it's a one time use. I can't find filters anywhere. It's a 3inch x 10inch. All I can find are 2.5 and 4inch.

Works as it should. At max PSI it is yielding more than 100gpd. Tap input here is between 180 and 220ppm depending on time of day and the output is between 0-2ppm.My pond is happy no more treated tap water.
