Better than their namesake with mediocre frozen dinners this particular company called Swanson makes outstanding supplements and vitamins that I've been taking for over 25 years everything I take from them is top quality at a reasonable price plus you can buy on Amazon and save the shipping charges.

I have never taken Niacin before but hoped it would help. Injuries have hindered blood flow on bottom of my leg which also created swelling at my ankle. This product has helped with that. After reading the possible health benefits of Niacin, I felt it was worth giving it a try to lower LDL and increase HDL cholesterol. I'm hoping it was help increase brain function.I knew it was working when I took it on an empty stomach and experienced the flush. ;-D Don't do that.

I have used this specific niacin regularly for over a year with no problems. The previous bottle caused severe flushing which has never happened before. I happened to have one pill left from the bottle before- the pills were smaller. So I assumed there was a mistake and returned that bottle and reordered another one- same problem- severe flushing. I don’t know if there was a formula change, or problem with the coating that makes it sustained release. I will return this bottle and try another brand.

Works well, my husband has not had any niacin flush from it (very important), and the price is right.

I have used this product for over ten years. Never any problem until recently, something changed big time. I cannot take it anymore due to the major flushing. DON'T BUY!
