Good Value / Purchased to match my Gallery set.
I bought this as a compliment to my Gallery Fridge and Dishwasher. I did not purchase the Gallery Microwave because it was 200 more.... and you can't even tell it is not exactly the same. So I am Very Happy with my purchase. Great Quality for the price. The only downside is the 3 Beeps at completion. Does not stop when you open the door, it will beep three times no matter what.

So this is one of the cheapest units on Amazon. Don't expect it to be great. When it arrives you will notice that even the package is cheap. I installed the microwave to replace a 16 year old one that just gave out. This is the same size but the materials are thinner and the features are as basic as you may get. It works but I don't expect it to last 7 years. The door is not aligned correctly and the alarm is like a smoke detector, loud and obnoxious. If you can, spend the extra $50 for another unit, but if you just want to get a microwave with a vent and have low standards, get this one.UPDATE: It dies today. Blew the breaker and wants to burn up. Avoid this unit.

Not exactly what I was expecting
I purchased this microwave to match other Frigidaire appliances I have, with price in mind. I missed that you don't have the ability to turn off the turntable on this model--it seems like that should be standard anymore. If you are cooking in something too large to make the rotation, the turntable function can be damaged. I'm not used to having to push a "cook time" button before selecting the time. I'll get used to that, though. It gives three long beeps when the time is up, which is kind of annoying to me for some reason. Even when you open the door, the beeps continue. I haven't used it much yet. I tried the "popcorn" feature, and it needed at least another minute of cooking time beyond what that is preset for. I like that you can add 30 seconds with the touch of a button. But if I'd had more time (home construction--it arrived and was installed right away) and had purchased it locally where it would be easy to return, I would have returned it and opted for a different model. It looks nice, and I'm sure it will be fine.

Happy customer!
Great product. Very nice stainless over the range microwave. Easy to operate. All options that were needed.

Disappointed
1. When the door is opened or closed, it makes a loud noise, not smooth closing/opening.2. The 3 beeps when cycle is complete are obnoxiously loud and do not stop when the door is opened.3. Have had it installed for only 2 months and the left interior light does not come on most of the time.4. Cook time button has to be hit just right.

I would not go with Reviews all the time.....this is my candid conclusion with regards to this Over the range microwaver.
I would not go with reviews all the time.....from hence forth. Did I purchase this item with trepidation, based on "reviews"? Yes. But as I did not want to spend a lot of money, I still went ahead to purchase it to replace the one that was already in the house before we purchased it. Immediately I received it, I was shocked at the ascetic and quality look of the microwave. I proceeded however. Still with fear, I went ahead to attempt to install it just to see if I could do it. I had never in my life installed anything like this. First, the installation manual was crystal clear and comprehensive, and I started to follow directions step by step. I actually followed in reverse the installation directions that came with this Micro-wave, in reverse order to first remove the existing non-functioning over the range microwave (which was pre-installed in the house as I said). The moment I successfully removed the existing microwave, my confidence grew and I continued to install the new Frigidaire. It was not as heavy as I "read", and was easy for me to lift ( I am male but not rippling with muscles). Following the manuals I adjusted the vent and changed it from re-circulating vent to external top vent to be connected to the pre-existing duct. Within twenty minutes and armed with screwdriver, drills and the existing screws I lifted and installed the microwave ALONE: ( only help I needed was a pile of books on top of a small table which I used to support it as I fitted it into the cabinet. At the end I stood back and shook my head at the flawless look of this item in the kitchen, and the ease of installation. Then came time to operate. At the first button it responded. I went ahead to test the "annoying beep" I read so much about. Put the first plate inside the microwave and at the end of the time set, I heard the first beep, came over to remove the plate and first pressed "Cancel/Stop" to stop the alarm BEFORE I opened the door. That was the last I heard the beep. I did not hear it more than once ( so, if one hears it more than once, you did not press the "Cancel": before opening the door) That was what I noticed in my case.. Each of the buttons are instantly responsive and has remained so till date. The next thing I noticed is the speed of warming and heating. If there is one thing I am happy about, it is that I purchased a quality item that I am able to install at an unbeatable price, and which works flawlessly.....leaving me to ask the questions: do we review an item based on our "reading" and "comprehension" of (did we follow the directions?) the manual/directions or on the actual deficiencies of an item? Still shaking my head....tons reviews of this item have not been candid in my opinion, and I have my experience to prove. Meanwhile, Best Buy and Frigidaire websites have quite really viable and valid Reviews, I just realized......some still with the same subjectived leanings. Want to buy this, I would strongly recommend seeing it before picking it up.....better still buy from store is what I could venture to advise (if that is permissible in Amazon review); that way you could ask questions, if need be, on how to install and or possibly operate the item if you don't know how to (that is - if you are too busy to read the manuals:...nevertheless nothing beats reading it and following it). Just being candid as is normal with me. Thank you.

Terrible Shipping!
Shipped the microwave with dents and scratches all over it. I plugged it in anyways and it didn't even work despite the bad reviews I bought it anyways because my parents own the same one and it works great. Well this one doesn't and I'll never buy another appliance online to be shipped again.
