Good over all.
The Good: I love the design, and the look of the case. Being a student at a seminary many people think its some sort of pocket new testament - and are amazed when they see it is really a phone case. I have had it under heavy daily use for 6 months now and it is still functioning as expected. The Bad: The quality of workmanship and attention to detail are slightly below average I think. I suspect this will lead to a shortened life span for the case. Already there are a few loose threads in the stitching, the little metal braces they put across the spine are causing the spine to wear unevenly. I suspect within a month or two they will tear a hole in the spine material. Further the included access holes for both charging and the camera are slightly out of place. Perhaps its my individual unit, or perhaps its systemic... If systemic I would give fewer stars - but since I don't know I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. With the charge port, you have to shove the phone part way out of the case, plug in the charger, and then pull the phone back down in order to charge it (iphone 5) inside the case. With the camera, no matter whether I force the phone all the way down in the case or not, there is always a bit of phone case included in the pictures I take.Another Angle: the red loop of fabric you see sticking out of the top is attached to a piece of material that helps to hold the phone in place. Not only does it not hold the phone in place well, but it warps the case ever so slightly, and may be the cause of the camera hole not lining up precisely. Perhaps thinner material and another method of attachment would benefit the design overall.I will most likely buy another one when my first one wears out.... However, I hope the price point is lower than what I spent (16$).

Skeptical at first but now I love it!
I got this because I really like to minimize the amount of stuff I carry around. I only bought this because it was cheaper than other options out there. When it arrived it really did have a noticeably strong chemical smell that some of the reviews mentioned, but it went away after two days of use. My iPhone 5 seems very secure inside it and I hold my license, and two debit cards in it. For the first few days I felt like I was forgetting something important because I didn't have to carry my wallet anymore. I don't think the bulge is anymore noticeable than my wallet was. Everyone at work that saw it, picked it up thinking it as a book I was reading and was surprised to see that it was a wallet/iPhone case. (This really wasn't what I bought it for, but it was nice to see some people really did think I was just carrying a book around) Even a cashier at Walmart told me she thought I was pulling a bible out of my pocket to pay. My only complaint is you really can not use all the card sleeves because it does become way too bulky and does look ridiculous but right now I have three cards and it looks just fine. In the end, I am really happy I made the purchase.

iphone 5s case
I bought an EC Technology case for iphone 4 and was very happy with it despite a few quirks (such as the slight shadow over the camera so that you had to slide the phone out to take a picture, or the tightness of the wallet that a lot of reviewers have been complaining about). So when I got iphone 5s, I got the same case and expected the same thing: but the iphone 5s case is a great improvement: the wallet pockets make it much easier to slide your cards in and out, and the camera cut-out on the back seems better placed - I haven't used it long enough yet to be able to determine if the phone is going to inch up a bit, but at first try, pictures come out nice and clear. Don't expect this to be a wallet replacement - the whole idea is to have something small that still fits in your pocket. One thing I wish it had, though, is a detachable wrist strap - this would just make it perfect.

A good quality, less expensive option to the BookBook.
iPhone 5S fits, there is access slots to plug everything in, the camera is not obscured. The case looks good and is constructed well. There are 3 slots for credit cards and one for a drivers license. Behind the cards is another pocket for folded cash. The phone slides into a leather holder and is held in place by a leather tab (decorated with a red bookmark ribbon at the top). Phone does not clip into a plastic holder like the EC Tech iPhone 6 case. The phone case fits easily into my back pocket.

Great wallet case besides camera hole in back
This is the case for iPhone 5s. I love this case with wallet. I am able to hold my drivers license, 2 credit cards in slots. 2 credit cards in pocket behind the credit card slots, 2 insurance cards, a few business cards and cash of about 5 bills. It still closes great and have had no issue. It has held up great. My only issue is the camera hole in the back. It is not lined up exactly. I can take pictures with phone in case but sometimes it's hard. So I usually slide the phone out of case to take pictures. When I had my iPhone 4s case same as this one just different in size, the camera hole was perfect and had no issues. So if this would bother you then don't buy unless they have fixed this issue. I bought mine in March 2014 I believe. One more thing is if you take your phone out of case a lot then case seems to not be as right as a fit. So if you grab your phone in a hurry and swing it then be careful it doesn't slide out. Not an issue for me but I'm pretty OCD with my phone. It's only fallen out once when I took phone of my pocket but phone was upside down in my pocket. So be careful with that.Overall, Great case and I love it besides the camera hole. A lot of people think I have pocket bible which us fine with me.

Good Case
It is overall a good case, holds up to about 6 cards or so which is very nice without it getting bulky. The red thing on the top is a little annoying to get used to at first because it just kinda hangs out and flops around. Biggest issue with it is that it doesn't stay slid down all the way into the case and thus it blocks the top right and left corners of the camera when taking a picture, thus I have to slide it up halfway out of the case to take a perfect picture, or push the phone down very hard into the case and hold it there. Might be a bigger issue for others and not an issue at all for some. Depends on who you are.
