Use mine on the small propane canisters and it works great, better than the nozzle screwed into the propane bottle, this gives one the ability to keep the gas away from your work.

I ended up not needing this for my car repair project to loosen rusted bolts, but I'm keeping it anyways as its quality looks pretty good. Well packaged.

Stopped working in less than 10 uses. The valve at the bottle was stuck open. Which I thought was OK because it has another shut off valve near the torch tip. But then that valve stopped working. I could turn it in the open position, but gas was not flowing through the hose.

Seems to work fine with Butane/propane gas but switch to the yellow MAP gas and it can't keep a constant flame.

If you do a lot of plumbing , there is in a torch out there that's better

Tip discolored instantly upon testing the functionality of the product, which is expected but the tip burns literally RED HOT even on a very low setting, unlike a benzomatic or even the Ausail tip I purchased on Amazon which they unfortunately no longer sell which also had a longer hose. It doesn't have a safety lock to keep flame on once it eventually ignites which also should be improved compared to other competitors, takes a while to light. Another downside is the loud whistling even on a low setting. It works and did the job but the sound and extreme heat the metal retains is a big drawback. It's nice to adjust the heat setting and the flame that is emitted from the tip is perfect and doesn't flare out like a flower so it's very precise which is great. Overall fair but the tip gets dangerously hot compared to several other types of torches I've used so it's not a product I'd buy again or recommend. PSA: I did use Mapp gas which burns hotter but this claims to be compatible which is disagree because safety will be compromised and danger is one small mistake away.
