Paddywax Candles Urban Collection Scented Candle, 12-Ounce, Driftwood + Indigo

Out of every single candle I have ever smelled in my entire life, this is by far my favorite. It is a deep, dynamic, and warm scent. I also like how it does not smell artificial like most candles. I have purchased this candle in the glass jar before, and was excited to see this minimalist concrete pot it came in. I was hesitant when I saw the price, but it is definitely worth it. The scent fills my entire room and the pot adds a nice touch of decor. I do wish it was more slow burning though, I feel like I am going through the candle rather quickly.

There are strangely many negative reviews about this. I’m a big fan of this candle. Yes, it’s a bit pricey for a candle, but I personally find this scent soothing. I only burn it for about 30-45 mins before I go to bed and therefore avoid any spilling and seeping through the cup. Even so, I’ve burned it for longer and nothing disasterous has ever happened. Speaking of the cup, it can be used as a pencil holder of sorts once the candle burns out. That’s what I did when my first one was finished.It’s not an overpowering smell, which means it isn’t irritating for people who are sensitive or attergic to artificial smells (like my roommate). Very subtle, yet present.Overall, I’m very happy with this candle.

Wasn't sure about the smell at first but decided to keep it and it smells amazing. The scent is light and not overpowering which is actually nice and then the sweet smell of bergamot sneaks in. It's really nice! Glad I kept it. It's so tiny though, kinda pricey but worth it.

The candle arrived damaged. The candle container is made of a very frail clay. Even though it was thoroughly wrapped in bubble wrap, the edges on the top and bottom were scraped, chipped, and broken. This is not some minor scratch - it arrived in extremely poor condition.The overall appearance of the jar is not appealing. I would say it looks decent for a kindergarten project. But if it was made by adults for the commercial purposes, the "artist" should reconsider his/her approach. Perhaps use a different clay for the jar.But it smells nice.

These are not packaged well. One out every four have been damaged. I love these candles!!

I LOVE the Paddywax Tobacco & Patchouli scent. I've purchased the Apothecary 8oz version several times and wanted to have a larger size that would last longer because I was sick of buying 2-3 at a time. I have to say I love the LOOK of this candle but the scent isn't as strong as I'm used to. I've bought other open face candles with this scent from them in the past and they were stronger than this, I don't know if I got an old candle or a bad batch but it definitely has the scent I love. It's just no where near as strong as the smaller Apothecary ones. And because it's an open face candle it burns faster so while I love the look of the candle I will probably stick with the smaller 8oz Apothecary ones.

I love this candle. I bought one for my daughter in a retail location where she lives. I loved the scent, so I ordered one here when I got home. I have not had any of the problems that others described. The scent fills the room just enough for my preference. It is not overwhelming or too sweet. I found it to be the perfect amount of fragrance and also mine burned just fine.The only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars, is I wish there were a refill. I love the holder and can use it for other candles. However I would re-order this same candle again and probably a number of times if I could purchase it without the holder, as I do not want to collect the holders. This is really exactly the amount and kind of scent I have been looking for but I am reluctant to purchase the whole container again.

So cute! I haven’t burned it yet, but the scent is lovely. I would totally give this as a gift. The stone and bronze give it a great look. I will probably buy more to decorate with. It is small which makes it great in multiple places.

Product arrived smashed

This has a wonderful scent, with notes of wood, smoke, spices and patchouli. Best of all - while I love scented candles, I have seasonal allergies and other brands of candles have triggered allergy attacks. Not this one, though - maybe because Paddywax uses soy wax instead of the more common (and cheaper) paraffin wax? I can light these even through hay fever season.

The design, look. And it smells good too.

La candela è originale e il profumo intenso e buono. Il vaso in cemento era però sbeccato e non era indicato nella descrizione dell'oggetto. Sto valutando un eventuale reso, se riuscissi a sostituirla con qualcosa di altrettanto buono.
