Sahara Sailor Stainless Steel Water Bottle W Carabiner Clip, 28 Oz

I do like this water bottle, and will continue to use it daily. There is only one slight con and that is that it can be difficult to get a good, big drink from it sometimes. The lid on this bottle has like a bicycle water bottle type nipple on it which is to be drank from. The problem is that most bicycle water bottles are made from plastic, which is flexible. So when you suck on the mouthpiece the bottle gives and allows the water to enter your mouth. This bottle, being made from stainless steal (which is why I bought it), has no flex. Depending on how you put your mouth around the mouthpiece there is some air that is able to get into the bottle and allows water to come out, but often times the water comes out mixed with allot of air, or it comes out too slow to really quench my thirst.It really isn't a huge problem, and it is hard to avoid with this type of material (stainless steel) and this type of mouthpiece. If worse comes to worse, when I am riding my bike and I get real thirsty, I am able to just quickly unscrew the lid and drink from it like I would from a cup. It works great that way. The reason I bought this bottle was because every plastic water bottle I had tasted, and smelled like chemicals from the plastic. So all in all, this water bottle serves it's purpose. Just a little difficult to get a big drink from without taking the lid off.

What we have here is a cool water bottle. It is with one hundred percent stainless steel. I like how it is durable, tenacious, and leak-proof. I have had several stainless steel water bottles before, that were great but they always leaked. This one has not leaked at all, so I am very happy because for once I have a water bottle that is leak-proof. The water bottle can contain up to eight hundred ML of water or whatever substance you which to have in the bottle. The bottle comes with a metal carabiner clip. This clip allows you to attach the bottle to bikes, belts, or backpacks, when you are out and about. I take the bottle with me on my daily runs around the track. I use the carabiner to attach it to my backpack. I like it better this way because the bottle does not take up space in my backpack, instead it hangs on the outside. The bottle is nice and resuable with is a great thing and helps keep out city clean.I received this water bottle for free in exchange for an honest and totally unbiased review.

Excellent bottle with 1 flaw. The bottle is the perfect size and made of fairly thick, quality grade stainless steel. It also imparts no metallic taste into the water. The thin neck makes it easy to grasp when drinking. The only flaw I have experienced is with the cap. When you lift up the top all the way to drink, the bottle makes weird bubbling noises when you're sucking. You have to push top down perfectly to where the white o ring is barely visible to get a decent flow. Still you have to suck pretty hard to get the water to come out. I'm not sure if I received a defective cap or this is how all the caps are. It would be great to know what other caps could fit on the bottle since the original isn't so functional. Also the description says that the bottle is 28oz, which it's not. If you put 28oz and try to screw on the top, the water will leak out from the sides. This 1 oz difference is not a big deal for me.I have take off 1 star due to the cap. Other than that the bottle is perfect.

This bottle was bought for my son to take on scout camping trips. The main body of the bottle is rugged enough, but the sealing mechanism is a very poor design. The hinge connecting the stopper to the cap broke within a month or so of using. We used it for a while after, since as long as the bottle was in the closed position, the stopper would stay in place.This made taking drinks a pain in the ass, since he would either have to remove the top completely or make sure the stopper wasn't dropped and lost. Needless to say, the stopper eventually was lost.

The steel bottle is nice, but the vent in the cap doesn't work well enough to actually be able to get more than a dribble of water out of the mouthpiece. My bottle is about 6 months old and looks slightly different than the one pictured now, so who knows this may be fixed, but mine may as well have a solid cap because that's how I end up using it.

I lost my steel bottle that had some sentimental value. Having used that bottle for four years, I settled for this steel bottle. I like it very much and it is easy to clean inside and outside. Its volume is fair enough for me to walk over to get it refilled but not too often. The seal of the top is perfect as I have to store it in a box that I roll while carrying an umbrella in the Florida rain. I drink room temperature water with a green tea bag steeped in it through the day. Hence, I cannot comment on its capability to keep beverages hot or cold.

I got this along with the Sahara Sailor water bottle bike mount. When you put your drink in the water bottle cells cool to the touch. So if you put something hot in then be careful as the bottle will be hot too. I love the fact you don't have to squeeze the bottle to take a drink. And plenty comes out of the spout. Doesn't leak which is great. And fits just about anywhere. If you're using on a bike holder make note that this bottle is kind of long. It just barely fit on my bike. But you can use it just about anywhere. I definitely recommend this bottle.I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Good quality water bottle that fits the bottle cage on my bike nicely. More ecological since it can be reused indefinitely. Top has a positive seal with no leaks and no after taste. I recommend this bottle (and BTW I wasn't compensated for my review)

Not bad, not high quality in a sense that when u put ice cold water in it, the bottle gets really cold to the touch, so insulation is the best. Does a so so job with hot tea, get a bit warm to the touch and stays warm a couple hours but not anywhere near a yeti or say a David's tea. Bought 2 for the wife, 25oz and good pricing. 3 out of 5
