LOVE THESE THINGS!
REMEMBER, THESE ARE 1/24 SCALE SO THEY WOULD FIT A DOLL APROX. 3" TALL! (and since you create all the little items from printed paper, you probably wouldn't want a child under ten 'playing' with it.)Rec'd a note in the carton that said an email had been sent with the English directions, which was cool but I never noticed it. This was the sixth mini room I have done and it went well without them. The only problem I had was getting the wires for the ceiling fan to stick to the ceiling/roof. The microscopic roses on the wreath and table were too tiny to bother making, I couldn't hold the petals, even with tweezers, same thing with the bitty little flowers in the window box behind the sofa, so I used ones I had. YOU RECEIVE WHAT IS IN THE PICTURE ON AMAZON. I will include pictures, but I switched it up a lot from the directions, actually reversed it (that's the fun part, being creative!) because I was combining it with another room I had already done. I didn't upholster the couch, just made a cushion from fabric I had. Made a couple extra plants for fun. I love these things! Not certain if it was supposed to have plastic protective sheets to make a cube to display it in, but mine didn't have them.

Total winner with my wife, so total winner with me. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
I chose this as a gift for my wife, she ABSOLUTELY LOVED it. Big hit, one of the best gifts I've ever given her. Definitely need to get more of these. She was full of 'oohs' and 'aahs' and squeals of delight, not just from the moment she opened it, but the entire assembly. We also get lots of comments from friends over how unique and interesting it is.

Lots of delightful details, challenging and fun!
This is a wonderful kit, filled with so many tiny details! You will need sharp scissors, fine point tweezers, glue, 3 AAA batteries, and good light to complete it, but it's very managable for crafty teens and adults, if you take care to organize your materials and take your time. This kit took me about 5 evenings to complete. I mostly used quick dry tacky glue, but did use super glue (CA) to glue the beads for the light fixtures together. This kit came with everything else needed, including clear, full color English instructions. All of these kits are called "dollhouses" but they are not designed to be played with, although if you left off all the tiny little details, and just glued the house and furniture pieces together with minimal decoration, this one is probably sturdy enough to stand reasonably gentle play. I glued everything down, including the dog, rug, and furniture. The finished result is a miniature that everyone will admire and you can feel proud of having made. There are loads of youtube videos that will give you a great idea how to put these kits together. Just search "DIY dollhouse". This is my first DIY dollhouse kit to make and I am looking forward to making many more.

Disappointed--but Proceeding, waiting for replacement parts
I finally was able to do an inventory and everything was there, but one of the chandelier arms was broken. Able to repair that and hope it holds up. One of the LED lamp wires was broken up near the lamp, so not able to re-solder to fix. VERY DISAPPOINTED. (scroll down to see 3rd ADDENDUM, changing 3 stars to 2 stars and why. . . . )I bought this to make for a gift, but will be hesitant to give with no LED for the lamp to complete or a broken piece repaired.Even using a ruler and knife to cut straight edges accurately and precisely, e.g. the base and the wall paper, the pieces do not fit as precisely as one would expect. Have to find the "sweet spot" to live with slivers of wood edges showing around the windows. (The edges will be covered when the walls go together.)Instructions show a lot of photos which is helpful, but even with instructions in English, obviously translated from Chinese, there is some vagueness--e.g. ( "sticky" means to glue). And, where on the base do you mount? (OKAY--under a different light, I now see there are marks for where to place the walls on the fake floor laminate.)For a project with such minute detail in the items to be cut and made, there is a lot of vague areas, but pictures are helpful.Curtain fabric is stiff, so I am hoping this helps with the gluing; however, I may be inclined to choose a different fabric from my fabric/quilt stash with a more graceful and softer drape. I will probably eliminate the turkey on the tray as don't "get" that being shown in a living room. (We don't eat turkey in a living room. . . weird.)Item list states battery and glue, but ad description indicates "not included due to not allowed on planes"--yet glue and batteries can be bought; they have to be shipped. Buy these same kits elsewhere and glue is included, so I have been told, so I don't get that. More expense as they are recommending a silicone glue (I have no clue what that is. . . and the reviews on the silicone glue being used are mixed--don't know what to believe for the price of that particular glue. . . ) So far, I am using a school glue, Aileene's tacky glue, and have some super glue on hand, just in case. Not sure what the best glue will be for putting the wall corners together or for mounting on the base. Certainly, something that will allow some adjusting while glue is still wet(?) but strong enough to hold well. It would seem mounting the hutch and fireplace, glued to the wall would add some support and stability while the wall is being glued to the floor.Every single item is made to be cut out, except the wood parts and wood frames for the furniture. Very tiny, dainty, and delicate. I'm using very small-tipped, very sharp scissors--a very tedious job, but the estimate of 12-15 hours seemed reasonable, going slowly, a little time here and there, or an hour or two in an evening periodically. (The scissors enclosed are about useless for the really tiny items--e.g. books, plates, portrait, etc.)I may feel differently when completed, but right now my type A personality is very disappointed for what is described as being a precise, delicate project. Seems to be missing a lot of precision in the printing to match walls, no precision with the instructions--mostly pics that are difficult to see some of the details, What written "instructions" is limited and a poor translation.I have put several large doll houses together and have enjoyed (not just easier with larger pieces, etc), but very specific, detailed, and complete instructions. My hope is feeling some satisfaction if successful getting this thing together, after small photos and no real "specific" detailed instructions beyond pics that are hard to see. My feedback may change after I complete. . . . ????ADDENDUM: I have been in touch, via email, with Seller who sounded sincere about wanting happy customers. I was told the replacement parts are no problem, but can take up to 40 days. Hoping to receive. In the meantime, I am going to "stall" on this project as want to use for a gift; therefore, I want everything working and not a repaired chandelier arm. I am going to start another of Flever's projects to fill the time until replacement parts are received. I still say 3-stars, based on poor instructions and printing for wallpaper to match walls is "iffy" even when cut with a straight edge and cut exact.2nd ADDENDUM: I decided to try a tiny model to "test" my patience and to see if I could actually manage with gnarled rheumatoid arthritic fingers. It's a slow-go and does require patience, but my pieces don't look bad, and I am having fun. The pic is of the furniture and details I have completed, so far. This kit: "Happy Time," came with broken piece and LED light broken at the bulb, so no room to re-solder. Seller contacted and claims to be replacing. Was told 40 days to receive. At about 30 days right now, so still time to wait. Said he would keep me posted with tracking, but that hasn't happened. He did give me a discount coupon for another product. After trying the coupon a couple of times, was told to wait, can't recall 12- or 24-hours--still didn't work. More back/forth time wasting, but finally got a code that would work, so I ordered a "Box Theatre."3rd ADDENDUM: I am dropping my 3-stars to 2-stars, because the kit is cute; however, after waiting 40 days for the 2 replacement parts, after clearly giving the part numbers and description, one part is not what was requested. I needed and requested A-37 a chandelier arm. After waiting more than 40 days, I FINALLY get a tracking number that doesn't work with usps, so I try china packet--and it is not found. I email the Seller and told can track USPS--yet the tracking number given is NOT FOUND at usps, either. Seller says he will track for me--that didn't answer my question of where do I go to track the actual number given to me??????? I guess these people can't read(?). Today, the package arrives with a return address of Beaumont, CA, yet it took over 40 days to come from California????? I'm pleased; thankfully it is here and open the package to find the WRONG replacement for one of the requests is sent. A-37 chandelier arm is NOT A-27, 2 pieces of 1cm x4cm strip wood! I was told they want "HAPPY CUSTOMERS," but this is NOT how to get a HAPPY CUSTOMER!NOTE: Box theatre came missing a part (B-14). I'll be hesitant to order a 3rd Flever kit that's for sure!NOTE: The Box Theater: It came missing a part.

Worth all the money and all the time!
I bought this thing, opened the box, got overwhelmed without even really looking and then came back to it a few months later. Let me tell you what, one of the best purchases I've ever made. I actually found it by accident through a FB ad and I was blown away. I opened all of it, I looked it over and thought no way I can do this. I DID IT! all of it! I'm not that skilled at these things. I have never in my life done a miniature. I never even played with Legos. These things are so fun! They're so relaxing and calming and a great sense of accomplishment. All the pieces were complete and intact. The directions seem IMPOSSIBLE at first but then I just read through carefully and it was SO EASY. The cut out templates making measuring everything so easy!!! I used Krazy Glue with mine and it's the best. Dries fast. I swore at each step of the way I could not achieve making the next part and sure enough I did. I thought I'd never get the lights to work, EASY. Just follow the instructions. Anyway, I'm currently working on the one with the fireplace and I bought the XMAS one so that'll be done next. Have fun with your purchase!! :D
