Super Brite Diaper Cover, Blue, 4-9 Pounds

When I had twins- I realized all my Bummis Whisper Wrap covers were just too big. Even though the babies were 7 lbs each- I had very few diaper covers which would get them through the newborn stage. So after doing much research, I bought 4 of the Super Brites and 4  Thirsties Diaper Cover, Aqua, X-Small (6-12 lbs) . The Super Brites fit much better for the first 3 weeks. The umbilical scoop lined up much better and I the covers were quite a bit smaller and just an overall better fit. I used them with  OsoCozy - Indian Cotton - Prefold Cloth Diapers Preemie 2x6x2 (dozen) . It was a great fit and not too bulky for tiny newborns. Like with all diaper covers that have bound edges- if you allow the diaper to get too wet between changes- there will be some wicking. This wasn't a problem since breast-fed newborns have to be changed ALL THE TIME anyway.One baby is well over 9 lbs now and the Super Brites still fit. Though I don't think they will fit after next month. My long, lean baby will probably be able to wear them for quite awhile. The Thirsties covers were almost too big in the beginning. It took a couple of weeks for them to be a proper fit- though I used them anyway. They are roomy enough to double diaper easily for naps and such. The main problem with the Thirsties is the tag in the back that will wick moisture onto the binding and therefore up your baby's back. Still- it is a great diaper and has a lot adjustability to accommodate a wider weight range.Both kinds of covers have never had a blow-out. There was some wicking on both- but it was my fault for not changing the diaper quickly enough. If you have small/preemie sized babies- the Super Brite will fit much better. Once the twins are a little bigger- they will fit into my previous diaper cover stash. I will probably have to buy a few more covers because of now having twins- and though I REALLY like the Super Brites, I will probably be getting Thirsties instead. But it is more just a personal preference than anything wrong with the Super Brites. I prefer both over my older, much stiffer (and with no leg gussets) Whisper Wraps.

I wasn't sure about any covers even the coveted ones like thirsties until my son was actually born and I started using them and with the raves about thirsties I was very confident in their success but with bummis I was a bit nervous so I only purchased one and it was after I had already purchased all I needed and just wanted to give bummis a try and I have to say they were awesome!!! So petite ans perfect for little bums! Ugh I just wish it lasted longer than 3 weeks! My guy was 6-11 at birth and by three weeks he was almost 10lbs so it didnt last long but it was great while I had it. No leaks and full coverage. Can't go wrong with a bummis! Wish they made one size covers too!

this fits my long, slim 7lb newborn better than the other cloth covers i have from thirsties. the legs fits well, and the velcro is easy to use. i wish i'd ordered more of these instead of the thirsties which feel cheaper in quality and don't fit as well.

These have been excellent for my premie triplets! They were each about 6lbs with skinny legs when they came home and these have no problem fitting them.

So cute! Work great. Even fit small newborns (5 1/2 lbs).

These are the best newborn covers. They have a slick, wipable lining, a bellybutton scooped fit, and inner leg gussets that prevent any leaks at all. We have used these through two kids and they are still going strong! We use them over Green Mountain Diaper workhorse fitted diapers. We have 3 covers and 24 diapers.
