Best starter I've ever used.
Used this on a high compression 454 with headers and it fit perfectly. It has no problems cranking the engine. Very well made.

Bolted right up. Did not even need shims

Working good on a hot rod.
Used all 3 bolts to attach. Sounds good works well so far. Put it on a 11:1 compression sbc 400.

Didnt work
I bought it a while back. It sat in my room in the box unopened for a few months until my motor came back from the machinists. I dropped the motor into the car connected everything opened the boxes i had of parts, bolted them all on the motor. Tossed the boxes, bought a 12 pack of beer. Invited my neighbor to witness it turning on for the 1st time and the starter doesnt work

Works perfectly 1993 Chevy s10 v8 swap 429 Stroker Motor.
fit as advertised. Works great. Just don't over tighten the ignition wire nut. Fitting will come loose and fall out over time. I left the nut it came with tight and added another nut for the ignition wire. Other then that it fires up no problems.
