My dog will not eat her food without it she's a bit fussy to say the least

made in uk apparently. i bought these as my 4 year old shih tzu cross has been lethargic for weeks, i thought she is only 4 but acts like an elderly dog. she has had 1 tablet each day for 4 days, and now she is playing and wanting cuddles, i am so pleased she feels much better. would recommend.

We often home cook for our boy, so its good to add vitamins to his food to make sure he is getting all the vitamins and minerals he needs. These are nice soft chunky cylindrical chews, that can be given as a treat or crumbled into food. They have a strong smell, a kind of fake smokey meat smell, which is what put my dog off, I think, since he refused to eat his food with these added. This is a real shame as they seem to have a good nutrient balance. I was planning to add one crumbled into each of his 3 meals per day, which is the recommended daily amount for a dog of 30kg, but sadly he had other ideas. The pot contains 60 soft chews, so would only last 20 days for him, if he would eat them! Obviously it works out more cost effective the smaller the dog. I imagine giving these as a treat to most dogs would be a really good thing, just sadly not for mine. On that basis it was hard to choose a star rating. I settled for 3, which is nearly in the middle, to try and be fair as whilst not a success for my dog, I'm sure that for other dogs they will be.

I ordered these Multi Vitamins for my dog as I like to make sure she is getting all the nutrients that she needs, she has always eaten every treat or similar I have presented her with, however these she just will not touch. I have no idea why as they are very similar to others we have had in the past, but she will take the treat from me walk across the room put it on the floor and turn her nose up and walk away! So instead I now hide one in amongst her dinner and she eats it that way absolutely fine, so I can only assume that on its own she doesn’t like the flavour but in her dinner it’s blended in.The treats themselves are heart shaped and a good size and I love that they contain 23 nutrient boosting active ingredients to give complete support to her each day.The pot is plastic with a screw top and is easy to both open and close. At £14.99 (price at time of review) for 60 chews they are good value as this will last my dog two months having one in her dinner each day.I have taken one star off as there is some reason she won’t eat them alone, this is the first time in her 10 years of EVER having refused anything that she’s been given to eat so there is definitely something she doesn’t like, but overall I would recommend them as I know they are good for her which is why I’m hiding them in her dinner.I hope that this review has been helpful to you in deciding whether this is the right product for your dog.

Easy to break and no bad smell ‘ I think they are good value !They seem to have perked my dog up a lot!

My husky dos not agree with this vitamins.Had to gift it to someone else.

Expensive as my dogs won’t touch them

Purchased these as beagle has been put on diet. Her coat was a bit dull but after two weeks it is now soft and shiny - have ordered again 😊
