Melissa Doug Sunny Patch Augie Alligator Sleeping Bag

If your child is looking to lay on it not in it - its a little loud. Walking on it it sounds sort of like a windbreaker on a windy day. But the quality looks good- and its a fun design that the kids will love. My 2 year old grand-daughter loves it (uses it for naps at day care)! Over all a sleeping bag that is fun, can be used indoors or out, withstands washing, is inexpensive, and shipped to your door. Awesome!

We bought this for a toddler boy (4 years old). He absolutely loves his sleeping bag because its actually quite colorful and bright. It's just the right size for him and he likes getting in the bag because he pretends that the alligator is 'eating' him. He's used it for about a year now and there have been no problems such as zipper or tearing issues.However, I give it 4 stars because the sleeping bag's material is rather loud when he sleeps in it. This is a problem especially when his parents have him in the same room when traveling or camping in a tent. The material just makes more noise than it probably should when everyone just wants to sleep and this 4 year old is a restless sleeper.

While it is very appealing to look at and well made, it is too small for even slightly tall for their age 7 year olds and I Definitley would not use it outside, I don't believe it's that sturdy.

I got this at the last minute for christmas for my son. I figured he would like to sleep in it while we were traveling for the holidays. He Loved It. He says it's a dragon, and he wants to sleep in it on his bed. It is pretty warm, I didn't want to get a "sleep sack" which is much thinner because it does get cold at night in texas and this was the perfect choice. Very warm, very cute. I wish it came in more styles though. You only have the option of the alligator and the little pink bug. I know miss spiders sonny patch friends have lots more characters than that, it would be nice to see more of them. As it is, I will be purchasing a second alligator for my other son since his brother's is so popular.

This sleeping bag is cute but not very functional. The quality is so so. You can not use it for real camping because it is not warm enough and super loose. My son only played with it once inside our house since I bought it two years ago. Definitely not worth the money.

This was super cute, but the batting balled up after washing a few times and was no longer useable.Original: I needed a sleeping bag for my toddler's new daycare. This is perfect. I have washed it a couple times and it has done well. It's cute, inexpensive and works well for my son.

Bought this for my grandson (4 years old) for Christmas. He is at the age where he loves to have 'slumber parties' with his dad, cousins, or grandma (me). His slumber party consists of sleeping on the floor with a pillow and lots of blankets. We had a slumber party that night, and it worked out perfect. He loved the feel of the softness inside the bag. The bag is really soft and squishy inside, sorta slippery on the outside, but with more use the material will relax I'm sure. We practiced rolling the bag up and putting it back in the storage bag it came in a few times. I'm sure with a little more practice he will master the art of it.He went to the coast with his cousins this past week and they told him to bring a sleeping bag. This worked out perfect. It kept him warm, and he didn't need a lot of padding underneath when he sleeps on the floor. It's also machine washable, and that's a big plus.When my new grandson is old enough, I will surely buy him one too.

I read other reviews and bought this for my 2 1/2 year old grandson who was visiting. It was perfect! I didn't have an extra spot for him so I decided to try the sleeping bad. The colors are great and I like the storage bag. I know we will find a lot of uses for it. We live in South Carolina, with high humidity. We used it indoors with airconditioning set at 78 degrees.
