Where else you gonna get 2 beautifully polished pre-lubed chains for $19?!?
As the neighborhood, shade-tree, bike "Wrench", I have purchased 7 pairs of these chains over the past 3 years and not ANY have had any sort of problems on the recreational / leisure bikes that they are properly installed on!Sure, the hard-riding Tri-Athletes, CycloCross & Criterion racers demand their $50-$100 SRAM /Shimano /Wipperman/ Campy chains... Different uses/needs get different equipment - no "one-size-fits-all", right? And sure, that description at the top is misleading, but I have contacted them about this... there used to be a drop-down menu with the 3 chains offered (only 6, 7, 8 were offered when I bought [even though 9 &10 were still in the heading, but not in any drop-down - "D'oh"]).Just count the number of cogs on the rear hub (freewheel or freehub, road or MTB) - if you count 5, 6, 7 or 8 then this chain will work just fine! The number of chainrings on the front / crankset makes absolutely NO difference to bike chains...(eg: a "10 speed bike" is usually 5 cogs in back × the 2 chainrings in the front,"12 speed" is 6 × 2,"18 speed" is 6 × 3 OR 9 × 2, "21" = 7 × 3, and"24 speed" is 8 × 3 OR 12 × 2, etc.).As a side note - just use the included chain breaker as a cool paperweight & go get you a Pedro's RPG (and QUIT being such cry-babies about it here - I mean, you DID come here looking for a CHAIN, right?!? Sheesh)!

Complicated
A little complicated to figure but over all very helpful after the learning stage.

Arrived on time. Worked great
This order solved two problems. The old chain was dead and this order replaced it. The chain breaker made it easy to make the chain fit properly. And I have a spare chain for the next time.

Chain tool broke immediately
The thread stripped on the tool during my first pin extraction. No instructions were provided to show you how to install the quick links.

Works as expected
The tool is made of aluminum, so go easy on it. But the chain is strong once installed!

Fine chain, horrible tools.
The chain works just fine. But the "rivet extractor" was a piece of junk. It was hard to use and broke in the process. I went to the store and got a $10 extractor... and it was so easy, worked like butter through the rivet. But not the thing they gave me. Get the chains if still a good price, but assume you'll need to get your own tools.
