Stocking stuffer for toddler
Stocking stuffer for a toddler. He still uses it regularly 6+ months later. Easy for little fingers and doesn't come apart too easily like other basic flashlights, so it is safer.

Perfect Toddler Reading Light
My daughter has recently been asking to bring books into her crib to "read" after she gets oeut down for the night. This flashlight is perfect because it's not burn-your-retinas-out bright like every other flashlight I've found. People on here are complaining because it's too dim, but it's perfect for a reading light or really for any kind of toddler activity because the first thing they do is shine it in their own eyes, and the second thing they do is shine it in yours. If you're looking for something you can see from space, get any other LED flashlight on here. If you're looking for a gentle, not super bright toddler flashlight, this one is a big win.

Good idea, quality control issues?
Got this for my daughter, and the switch does not working for the flashlight. Went through different brand new batteries in order to find out. Cute if it workedOne week later: I was offered a replacement and it functions properly. Arrived 2 days after informing them it was defective.

Toddler Perfect!
This is seriously far better than I could have hoped for. My toddler expressed that he felt scared in the dark, so I started looking for an appropriate flashlight for him to have in bed with him at night. This one is comically dim to an adult but absolutely perfect for a toddler, gives confidence and a light but It is also totally fine when they fall asleep with it shining in their face. Speaking of falling asleep with it, no, it does not have an automatic shutoff, but we are a month in of using it every night and he leaves it on every night all night and we are still in the first set of batteries! Amazing! I have a 2.5-3yr old using it and the on/off switch is not a problem at all for him to find and use in his own. It’s also super cute on top of everything else!Love this so much! Can’t recommend it enough!

Received used flashlight repacked shoddily with tape
Before going into the details of my review, the flashlight seems to be an okay product. It’s fairly weightless even with the batteries installed and the on/off button is easy to maneuver for a child. I bought this toy for my toddler so that I don’t have to use my phone’s flashlight at bedtime for shadow game (my cell phone is pretty heavy should it hit my kid on the head). That said, my issue is mainly with the damaged packaging (reading the reviews, I’m not the only one to complain about that) and Amazon’s initial lack of good customer service. So, what happened was that I had placed an order for a NEW flashlight, but what arrived was clearly a used item (flashlight had pen markings) that was shoddily repackaged with tape. I don't even know how Amazon thought that's acceptable. When I called to report the issue, I was only offered a replacement and asked to have the damaged packaging item returned to the nearest UPS/Whole Foods. When I thought about it the next day, I was quite irked that there was no acknowledgement on Amazon’s part for not having met customer expectations and for the inconvenience caused to the customer for not only having to wait for the replacement item (I needed it urgently for a birthday gift) but also expecting them to take time out of the day to drop off the item. In spite of those feelings, as a compromise, I asked for a discount on the damaged packaging item because the flashlight seemed to work and I didn’t have the time to do the return before a long out-of-town trip. Disappointingly, the best Amazon could offer me was 25% off with no option for return if the toy did in fact malfunction. As a counter, I asked for 50% off, but the agent had to speak with a manager for that and I was put on hold for a long time. After being on the phone for over 30 minutes for an issue I thought was an easy resolve for Amazon, I decided to hang up. I called back later explaining the situation and expressing my frustration to the next rep, who was much more sensitive to the issues I raised about Amazon failing to meet expectations and not hesitating to inconvenience their customer for an error that was of Amazon’s making. The rep apologized and as compensation he not only gave me a full refund (without expectation to return the used item), but also asked me to keep the replacement flashlight. Even though the toy wouldn’t arrive on time for my need, I was satisfied with the end resolution, which should have been the case to begin with.

Cute, but janky
This is very cute but the switch doesn't work that well. It won't turn on sometimes. And it won't turn off other times. Doesn't work reliably. But our 3 year old loves the cute look of it.

Perfect kids flashlight.
Perfect for kids who want their own flashlight to explore, or need some reassurance at night. (Fun fact: monsters HATE flashlights). Top stays screwed tight, switch works for little fingers (2/3 year old), batteries last forever (JUST replaced after a year of regular use/failure to turn off for days at a time). The loop did break off after my kid bent and twisted it repeatedly, so may need to be watchful if you have kids at a choking hazard age.
