Does this work with head busted off the bolt

I believe the previous responder's answer assumed the fastener had it's head snapped off and the threaded shaft was even with or below the surface of whatever it was threaded into.  In that case, no, this would not be effective.  If that was the case, you would need to drill into the threaded shaft and insert a tapered extractor.  If it was a 1/4" threaded bolt, you would drill a centered hole I/8" in diameter into the threaded portion of the fastener.  You should hit the extractor several times with a ball peen hammer to "set" it, then twist it out (in reverse) with an adjustable wrench or tap wrench.  Take your time and work carefully; this is not an easy procedure and it can be frustrating for a first-timer.  Once you drill the hole for the extractor, put the power drill down and do the extraction using hand tools only for best results.  I would suggest you watch several of the videos on YouTube on bolt extraction before you attempt this.  If the broken bolt is on an automobile engine or in some other restricted area, you may decide to let a professional mechanic attempt this for you.  Good luck.

Have a stripped 18mm lug nut... Will this set work?

Depends; is the external portion of the lug nut okay, but the stripped part is the wheel stud itself?  As indicated, there's no 18mm socket in the set.  You may be able to use a combination wrench, a regular 18mm socket, or an impact socket of the same size to attempt removal.  If the external portion of the lug nut is buggered up, you may be able to use either the 17mm or 19mm socket from this set.  The trick to using these is to have one that is slightly smaller than the fastener and pound it on with a small sledge (about 2 or 3 lbs.) so that it's tight to the fastener, then attempt to twist it off.  Your best bet is to use a long-handled 6-point wrench or a breaker bar.  When using the latter, try a long 1/2"-drive breaker bar with a 3/8"-drive adapter for these sockets; that will provide the extra turning power you'll need.  If that fails you can try an impact hammer, but be careful; they can overwhelm the fastener and cause bigger problems.  When possible, try a manual impact driver first, which will give you more control than an air-driven or pneumatic-powered impact wrench.  A bit of penetrating oil or PB Blaster sprayed on and allowed to soak in for a while (or overnight) will dissolve any corrosion.In any event, start out slow and use the least amount of force necessary to attempt to remove the fastener, then work up to more force if required.  Starting out with a 1/2"-drive impact wrench at full power is asking for trouble if you don't know what you're doing.These are also referred to as "turbo sockets", and you can probably find several videos on YouTube that will show you the ins and outs of using these. Does this set have a 10mm or 11mm ?

It has both. Full set is 8mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 17. I tried it however and it just completely rounded of the bolt I tried removing and mad it worse. I don't recommend this product.
