I bought this for a sushi party for my family. It was very easy to use for beginners like us. Sushi turned out well and was fun to make!

I love sushi, but it is so expensive. I have tried making it before, but the rolls never came out right. I found this set by accident during Prime Days and it looked interesting. I checked it out some more and decided that it might be just what I needed to help me make sushi. It does make larger rolls than you find in restaurants and grocery stores. I was expecting those size rolls so I was surprised. It didn't come with very clear instructions. For one thing the typeface is very small and only had minimal instructions. I had to look on youtube to figure out exactly what to do and which piece did what. My 2nd try was much better after I watched the videos. Other than the lack of instructions, there is just one other thing that I don't like about this set but I think any other set similar to this would have the same issue. When you put the cover on to shape the rolls, it goes down only so far in the rounded base because of groves on the sides so it doesn't really shape the rolls. I have only tried the rounded so I don't know about the other yet.

Used this for a new quarantine sushi hobby with the family and I have to say it’s a great success very easy to use the kids make their own sushi and you save heaps from store bought varieties

To be fair, I haven't used it yet, but everything listed was included in the package and it appears well made. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I liked the little onigiri (rice balls) molds. They're cute. The rest of it was okay, but not great. They were not thick, a little flimsy. It was somewhat difficult to cut pieces of sushi because the sushi molds had give. You also had to fill the sushi rolls with a LOT off materials to mold the sushi, for it to not fall apart. The heart-shaped mold makes very cute sushi. The knife isn't the greatest (a bit flimsy), but okay for the first time cutting sushi. If one hasn't ever made sushi, this may be good for beginners. P.S. the picture doesn't show all pieces, as some are being washed as we speak.

Everything comes as shown, definitely fun to use, but it is a bit hard to get at first and had trouble rolling things out. After a lot of practice, my Kimbap came out great!
