KLARUS ECONO FL ?
I collect flashlights (FLASHOHOLIC) and have almost 100 in my collection with the majority being from premium manufacturers such as NITECORE, EAGLETAC, JETBEAM, THRUNITE, ACEBEAM, SUNWAYMAN, and, of course, KLARUS. And actually, Klarus, has quickly become my favorite FL since discovering it a few months ago. I have about 8 Klarus FL now and up until now have, for the most part, only positive things to say about them. But in comparison to my previous Klarus FL this one seems "kind of" budget conscious, after all, it only cost $50. Other Klarus FL that have the same XPL V3 LED with the same 1100 lumen output are $30-$40 more. So here is WHAT I DONT LIKE about the ST15 and why I think it's more of a budget conscious FL. 1) The switch is much louder and actuation is nowhere near as smooth or as easy as it is in the other Klarus or other high end FL. Feels as though it will fail prematurely. 2) The beam is not uniform. It has an additional skinny ring of lite encircling the main beam. You should have a smooth, well focused, even beam on these more expensive FL. PERIOD. 3) This is sort of related to #1. Can't easily replace/service switch because the tail cap doesn't screw off as they typically do. The tail and main body are a one piece design, although there website says the head and body are a one piece design. Àn even more specialized tool is required to remove the switch other than the other typical specialized snap ring tool. WHAT I LIKE. 1) Despite the annoying additional skinny ring encircling the main beam, this FL uses the XPL V3 LED, which produces a very bright 1100 lumens on Turbo. 400 High. 100 Med. 10 Low. 2) Battery power indicator on the side switch. 3) 2 switch operation. I have always preferred a second sw. for changing modes. 4) Styling. Because I collect FL just to have them, they have to have that "cool" look to them as well as functionality. 5) Comes with a good battery. SUNWAYMAN makes some pretty good looking FL also. SUMMARY: I think Klarus was going for "more bang for your buck" on this one. It has a premium LED in it but a very poor tail switch that you can't even hardly replace yourself when the time comes because they decided to make the main body and tail cap one piece, which I think may have something to do with saving money in the manufacturing process, thus a budget FL.

Perfect for EDC.
Just got this from ordering last night and got it the next day! Opened this little beast right away. Everything arrived neatly packed and received everything stated. Tested this flashlight right away and all I can say is Wow! Incredibly bright. Do not look into the light! I bought this with the sole purpose of using it as an EDC light. I work in a heavy industrial environment and this flashlight looks like it can and will handle the abuse. Chose this light from many others due to the two buttons. One on bottom and one on side allowing for easy use. Also has a memory function so u don't have to cycle thru flashlight every time u turn it on. Most things during work will be looked at under 400 lumens settings and those last long on this flashlight which is handy when using this all day.

Excellent value.
Excellent little light. Very very bright. The body at the grip is 1" though. I bring that up because I didn't see the info anywhere, and I had bought a 30mm offset mount for my AR15 pistol (pictures below). I cut a layer of mouse pad to fit it however, and it works great. The light itself is brighter and throws farther (measurably) than my 3d 1100 lumen unit.I do recommend picking up some 3400-3600 batteries for it, and a good charger. I bought the Nitecore i4 2016 and it works great. All in all I'm super happy with this little light.

Great light. I've owned LED lights by most of the new manufacturers. This light at this price point is excellent. Bright, well made, and extra features like a battery life indicator.

Quality all the way around
High quality LED torch. I'll probably get a lot of use out of it. It is, however, not very conducive to carrying in a pocket. It's heavy and well over an inch wide. The battery is also decent quality, and the holster is rugged.

Light is good info was misleading.
I noticed that they changed the product details. When I bought mine I was under the impression that it would strobe, not the case. The light functions very well no complaints. Also it doesn't come with a charger and you can't charge it from the light itself. This was misleading and wasn't too thrilled about it.
