It is exactly as described and pictured.

It was not what I expected; however, for the price it serves the purpose.This rug is NOT fire proof.My rug now has a hole burned in it.In addition to the hole in the rug, my carpet has a burn!!!!!

I was surprised when I got it, it's so lightweight, not what I would consider a rug at all, but it is large enough to make sure embers don't get on my carpet, I haven't had it long so we will see about durability.

Needs to be thicker. Basically it’s a piece of plastic

I was looking at $100 rugs and at that price range reviews were just as mixed. So, I opted for this $27 rug and have placed in fornt of fireplace for about a month now. so far, so good. Goal is to protect my wood floor and the size is large enough to cover in front of fireplace.....easy to vacuum up ash or wood splinters. I will plan to re-buy this item next winter if the rug doesn't store well over the coming year.

This so-called rug is thinner than a piece of corrugated cardboard. It arrived folded up and I had to iron it and flatten it with books for several days. It still has visible creases. It does not stay in place and will slide, curl up, and has to be constantly repositioned every day. I would not waste my money. It’s cheap and tha about says it all.

This rug came folded.. can’t believe it did not come rolled. Very thin, like something from the dollar store. Do not recommend at all. The creases don’t want to come out and the rug looks ridiculous in front of our wood stove. I may try to attach it to a better rug..

I purchased this product to protect my living room floor and I'm so thankful I did. A small piece of burning wood fell out and this rug stopped anything from catching fire. I now have to replace the rug but that is a very very small price to pay. What a wonderful protect.
