This sealer works better and is a lot quieter than our past Food Saver model. Also like its compact size and that you can replace the seals in the future and appreciate that Potane provides a spare seal. Also like that it is easy to clean out the food sealer chamber and like the handle that latches down when you are ready to vacuum a bag and that the vacuum continues a bit longer while sealing the bag ensuring a good tight vacuumed bag. Lastly I like the 5 year warranty.

I am actually the husband of Sandra. I have had 3 Foodsavers in the last 10 years and they all eventually failed. This machine is awesome. Works better and is much more user friendly than Foodsaver. Based on the reviews, I hope they are right. If the life of this is as good as the performance, I have a winner. I will never buy another Foodsaver, a decision I should have made years ago.

I purchased the Potane vacuum sealer originally May 30, 2022. I read tons of reviews on different brands, models, etc. I finally decided on this model because of the five-year warranty, the suction power, the wet/dry setting, and the canning attachment. Since getting the unit, I used it 2-3 times a day for everything from sealing chip bags, sealing cheese, keeping coffee fresh, freezing meats, and meal prepping. I literally use it all the time. The maintenance has been minimal apart from cleaning the gaskets and wiping down the machine a few times a week or after liquid spills. It has been amazing for all my kitchen needs. It’s also easier to use - much easier to lock the lid and clean than my friend’s Food Saver!In February 2025, the heat sealer starting to malfunction and wouldn’t switch on in Automatic mode. In March 2025, the heat sealer failed completely, and the vacuum was not pulling despite cleaning all the gaskets.I reached out to Potane through their website. They replied back not even 24 hours later, despite it being a weekend. They helped me troubleshoot, and after we ruled everything out, they quickly offered to send me a replacement unit under warranty.I was shocked when a new unit arrived not even a day later! I was all prepared to freeze my ground beef the old way using zipper bags lol.I cannot say enough good things about the company and the vacuum sealer. The new unit is covered under the original warranty, and if it eventually wears out (which is reasonable since I use this thing literally all the time), I won’t hesitate to buy another vacuum sealer from Potane!

How have I done without this vacuum/sealer!!?? LOVE IT! Simple and easy to use right out of the box! I would give it 6 Stars if that was an option. It doesn’t need a lot of storage space, it seals quickly and completely. It is pretty self contained so no worries about cleaning it and losing parts. Highly recommend it for family use!!

Bought this to replace an old Food Saver model that died. This has a compact size, is very quiet, easy to use, and seals much better than my old one. It appears to be a quality product and I looked forward to using it frequently. I love this comes with a 5-tear warranty, most I looked at only had a 1-year warranty.

Received it today and used it to seal up some lettuce for salads and some other foods. It's worked flawlessly. Very easy to use and can't go wrong with a five warranty. Tired of throwing away food after three or more days. Hopefully this will save some money on food cost in the log run. Highly recommend.

This is my third vacuum sealer, and after using it for 8 months I can honestly say it has been the best by far. I freeze lots of vegetables, fruits and meats and this sealer never fails. I can seal bag after bag without having to wait I. Between bags.
