Can this be put in soil around my plants as I’m infested in all my soil

I think so, I have applied on the grass too

What form does this product? Is it a spray, a gel, a powder, a liquid?

It's a powder Very small bottle though can get similar cheaper product in stores.

Is it dangerous to dogs. I have a dog and he is always sniffing round in the garden.

It contains Permethrin which is used in liquid form as a flea treatment but it is a nerve agent and if licked can cause drooling, paw twitching (look up effects, will kill cats if ingested) I would keep my dog away from the site. Better safe than sorry, though the quantity of Permethrin is 0.48% and there is no warning on the container. It must meet safety requirements for humans and pets and is a reliable brand.
