Great name. Great product
I know they’re not made in America like craftsman, snap on, cornwell, husky, or others but still have a lifetime warranty and for the price you can’t really beat them.

The 3/8 was missing
Yes it said used which means it a returned item, but it said 8 pieces. 2 other reviews said they were missing the 3/8 now make it 3. It was a cheap price because your not getting all of the pieces. A bit of a scam

Great wrenches
Nice set of wrenches, covering the most common sizes. Seem to be a very good value. Arrived as scheduled

good and bad.. Read for explanation
first, let me say that these are not bad wrenches, but flawed design in a way. I have found that if you rub up against the side of the wrench by the reversible switch, then go to ratchet, the switch can flip from forward to reverse, or the other way around. It does not take much, just a hair of movement of that switch for it to happen. This tends to be more of a thing on the smaller wrenches then the larger sized ones. Also, the switch moves very easily. It is not bad that it moves easily, but there is not much to hold the lever in place that determines whether you are going to tighten or loosen. Just a slight bump can flip that switch. Again, this seems to be more of a problem with the smaller sized ones then the larger ones. The quality of the wrenches is OK. They are not extremely cheap, but also no where near high end. I own some craftsman, blue point, and gear wrench brand reversible wrenches (all with the reversible switch and the angled boxed end) and I have found that the gearwrench brand ones are the cheapest by far. The stem or handle part is the thinnest of all 3, about half the size of the craftsman ones on the smaller sizes, has the easiest, but also the most accidentally prone flip levers, and has the cheapest feel to quality of the 3 brands. Because of the thinner handle design, that is partly why the problem of the flip lever being bumped is a problem on the smaller wrenches. If they would have simply made the handles, or stem between the ends, just a little bigger, then there would be no way to bump the lever from the side. It is because the lever hangs over the edge of the wrench by that hair that makes bumping the reversible lever from the side of the wrench a problem.Agreed that the gear wrench brand is the cheapest of the 3 brands, but considering the price is not that much lower then the craftsman brand, and considering that these are made in china where the craftsman ones are made in the USA, I would think for the quality difference between them, that these would be cheaper. On the positive side, for most people, these will work fine. they feel like they will hold up over time with normal use, but as someone else stated, basic tightening and loosening is fine, but if you have to heave, or put a lot of pressure to tighten or loosen a bolt or nut, then I do not think that the mechanism will hold up for very long. In my opinion, if you are going to be using these for a living (mechanic, etc.), I would suggest buying something better, but for the regular home owner, these are fine. Also, since these do have a lifetime warranty, if they do brake, you can get them replaced. The wrench rack or casing that these came in could be used to store the wrenches in on the wall, or in a drawer. The wrenches kinda click into place and the case has places for you to put screws or nails in to hang it up. The case is very easy to open from the store. i bought one of their 20 piece sets of flat ratcheting wrench's and that one was a major pain in the.. you know what.. to get open. This one is very easy. Personally, I feel the the flat version of their ratcheting wrenches are made better, and will hold up to use better then these will, but then again, the flat versions also do not have an angled head so you have to worry more about banging your knuckles while using the flat version too. It all depends on how you plan on using them.As for the quality control, I do not believe that when the gearwrench brand ratcheting wrenches are made, that they are checked very good. I bought a 11mm flat ratcheting wrench to complete a set I had. It was the flat kind with no lever. When I got it in, I found that it was broke. The mechanism was jammed and after a slight bit of trying to turn it, it finally started to move. It had a grinding feel about half way through the spin and it was skipping too. this was a brand new wrench still in the packaging, so I know that it was not used. I am just saying this because even though it was not this design, it was from this brand and if the quality control on that one is not the best, then there could be quality control issues in the making of these too.In the end, I can not say that I would, or would not recommend these. They do have good points as well as bad. I guess it all comes down to personal preference, what you like, how you plan on using them, and whether you are willing to pay just a little more to get a set that is better made. when I looked, the craftsman brand was about $20 more, so it is not a major price increase, but the for ones that feel about 2 or so times better made, it may be worth spending the couple extra dollars if you plan on getting a lot of use out of them.

I needed one size but...
I had a project where I needed one size of a ratcheting wrench quickly. Ordered these and got them within a couple of hours! However, things went bad quickly. I needed the 10mm and started tightening. I immediately noticed a slipping and a clicking sound. Every time it "clicked" while tightening, it switched the lever to loosening mode. It was in a ridiculously tight spot that took me forever to hand tighten enough to get started and this stupid wrench would begin to tighten then switch it to loosen without me knowing and the nut would fall off. SOOOOO aggravating. Ran to Lowe's and got a Kobalt set. Not as nice to look at but at this set worked!

Very Handy
Fast shipping. They shipped Fedex, got e-mail saying it was delivered. So I looked around outside, no package. So I decided to check the community mail box. And there it was, but there was no notice. That it was switched to Canada Post. I love Gearwrench tools. At first I thought that the 10mm, was missing, but it came loose and was on the other side of the case. Gearwrench makes great tools.

Very Handy
I got these after changing the block heater in my 2001 GMC Sierra 2500HD 8.1l. It was a screw in block heater. No room for a 1/2" ratchet, with a 24MM nano socket. I had 24mm wrench, could only turn 1/6 of a turn at a time. I also got the large SAE set, just to have, in cause. The shipping was very fast. I have many different sets of gear wrench, never had a problem with them. I believe they are a very good investment. 4 stars just in case, there is a problem.

Should be labelled "constantly reversing" wrenches
I've had the metric reversible ratcheting wrenches almost two years now, and mostly they are good wrenches...for weekend work. The problem that annoys the s#!t out of me is that I have to hold the switch lever while wrenching in order to keep it from constantly reversing direction. C'mon Gearwrench...do better.
