Lives in context, and full complexity - beautifully evaluated!
I am really enjoying this book! I am not a student but a voracious reader and independent scholar and as I move from one stage of my life to the next, it is easier to look back and ahead with more precise awareness. This book is a wonderful introduction to the life span, from cradle to grave, and how families are a beautiful and complex tapestry with each member having a different set of needs and values that are explained in wonderful detail. While this is a bit more scientific and sociological than the average reader might seek out, the terms and concepts are easily explained and there really isn't anything more important than understanding where you are in life and how you relate to others. As a textbook, students will find it really interesting. As a tool of introspection, the citizen reader will be grateful!

Grading discrepancy only
I had expected a book in VG condition yet my prep center would rather say it is in Good condition

Superb
This is an exceptionally well written, clear yet relevant book. Reader friendly and engaging, absolutely no professional from any field...but especially education...should go without reading this. I've added this as an adjunct book to my own classes. Very well done!
