Brilliant bed. Love it. Solid and good qualityKnocking one star off tho. As many have said the instructions are poor and it’s not obvious which way around the sides go. Took a good 2 hours of fiddling around to get it builtWould recommends but hopefully the manufacturer will take note of all the comments re instructions

Spot on

The bed is far more rustic than I expected but my wife says it's exactly what she hoped for and wanted, so I guess it's okay then! My main gripe is the assembly process, it all looks pretty easy but 2 of the brackets for joining the headboard and footboard to the side boards were out of line making fixing the bolts in almost impossible. The 15 minutes assembly ended up well over an hour and I had to call in a friends help, resulting in hitting the brackets with a hammer to line them up. Had we not been without a bed for almost 2 weeks I would have returned the item, the novelty of sleeping on a mattress on the floor soon wears off. Anyway, at various times I thought the threads on the bolts were being ripped off as we tried to tighten them in the off line fittings but we managed to get it together. The wife is happy and it does look pretty good in the bedroom even though I do think some of the wood joins have a bit of a Flintstone look about them. If the wife is happy, so am I, just hope I never have to dismantle the thing in the future!

Love this bed. It's solid and looks great. Didn't come with instructions but was super easy to build had it build in half an hour. Definitely worth the price.
