I’m really really disappointed I can’t contact the seller on here as normally would do and I am not happy , I’ve used this substrate for years and order it roughly every two months normally a big bag but couldn’t get that size quickly so I ordered a smaller one .I emptied my tortoises viv and opened the bag to,pour the new pellets in and a bag of dust with the odd pellet fell out , totally unacceptable and not how these normally are. I can’t send it back for a refund because it’s literally dust and it’s in my tortoises vivarium ., I am prob going to comtact Amazon 2 Moro and ask for a call,back to explain this .. but please be aware that this may happen to you and inspect the bag before opening and pouring to make sure the products are pellets and not dust .

Wish I had used this years ago. Makes the tortoises enclosures much cleaner and far more presentable, and less mess, than the topsoil/sand mix I had been using. There is a smell to this, but wouldn't say it was unpleasant. Good value for money.

I have changed my review.when you first put this in it smells so bad.it stinks but after 2-3 days you cant smell it no longer. I have been using tortoise terrain soil but I found that is so dusty when you clean the table it end up up your nose and everywhere.this stuff is not dusty so is great that way.looks clean too.

Very poor quality. We use this product often from other suppliers but this substrate is really bad. It has a very bad smell which we were unable to tolerate and replaced using a different supplier. Unsure what this supplier is doing to the product but it's definitely not the quality we are use to. We will not be ordering from here again.

I used this for my horsefeild tortoises and I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand it doesnt smell and doesnt end up all over the floor or my tortoises water bowls however once it gets wet (this is often because they are messy with their water) the pellets crumble which becomes clumpy and a bit if a nightmare to clean out. It also seemed to make it hard for my tortoises to borrow which they tend to do in the evening and it looked a bit uncomfortable.
