Hi Tami, there are 2 drawers, if you open one the other one is locked, so you never can open both drawers at the same time. But you do not have the opportunity to actually lock the drawers that nobody else can open it.Best regards,Gabriele

Amazon fools you by give the shipping Box size 38 x 32.5 x 7 inches . The clue is the 7 inch to tell you they are doing that. Obviously Wendy's answer is better ..H 30". W. 31.25". D 19.75"
