Best product ever
This is the most incredible product. Let me start by saying after dropping my phone in the lake I proceeded to do everything that professionals say not to do. After Pulling it out of the water, the phone was still on, I tossed it aside and did not turn it off. When I pulled it out an hour later it was off and would not power on. I left it in a bag of rice for a few days and tried to power it on... nothing. Tried to charge it... nothing. Finally I got time and ordered the nine lives wet phone fix. It took a week to get to my house, which was Amazon's fault. After finally getting my hands on the fix I tossed my phone in and left it for about a day and a half. When I pulled it out, it still would not power on, so I charged it. After charging for awhile it powered on! I am now writing this from my phone I thought I murdered and it is working same as it did pre-swim. This is mind blowing to me. My Galaxy A71 UW 5g has a terrible water rating and this product saved me.

Unreal and amazing
Dumped my Galaxy phone into a pond April 24, about 4 feet of water. Muck at the bottom. We tried raking, feeling, everything, but could not recover it. Drought this summer caused progressive decline of water level in the pond. Found the phone on July 22, in the muck and about 2 feet of water. Did not attempt to turn the phone on. Spent a day cleaning the ports, removing the SIM card, put in a bag of rice. There was water visible on the camera lens. Ordered NineLives Wet Phone Fix and put the phone inside for 18 days. Periodically removed and turned the phone. 18 days later, took the phone out. No water spots visible on camera lens. Attached charger and it took a charge! When it got to 93% charge, I turned it on. Booted right up! Attached it to my PC and all my pictures were there (I hadn't backed them up, stupid mistake). Downloaded all the pics and videos to my PC and transferred them to the new phone. I am a big believer in Wet Phone Fix! There were a few spots water between the screen protector and the display, but they are getting smaller.

Don't waste your money
My son threw my phone in the toilet. I bought this hoping it would save my phone, but it didn't. I followed the directions, and nothing. I left the phone still in there, hoping for a miracle; it is been there for more than two months. I already got a new phone, but I was hoping I just didn't waste $20.

Must be used immediately, keep in stock at home in case of emergency.
I personally did not experience success with this product, but I did not leave a negative review because I do believe it works under the right circumstances. In my particular instance, my phone had been submerged for longer than an hour and placed in rice 12 hours later, while I waited for this to arrive. When it finally arrived the total time from being submerged in our pool to finally placing in the bag was roughly 72 hours. I followed the instructions as stated and after 48 hrs attempted to turn on my phone and it was still dead. There was however noticeably less water in the lens and rear camera. What that tells me, is that the absorbent substance works, but not in the time frame specific to my situation. This product is essentially like having a fire extinguisher for your kitchen, its for an emergency, to be used immediately after your device is submerged in water. Keep it in stock, you might never know when you need it, but when you do, you'll need it immediately.

Doesn't seem to work after waiting 3 weeks before purchasing this.
I was at the beach and had my phone in a side pocket of my shorts when I was out in the water, standing as I was getting hit by waves up to about my waist (I thought my phone would be safe, all the more as the screen of my pocketed Samsung A51 was facing in the direction of land). So my phone wasn't completely immersed, and it wasn't even hit "head on" given that it was in my pocket. At some point I took the phone out of my pocket and couldn't see anything, so I went back to my car and realized that it wasn't turning on. Later that night I plugged in the wall charger and tried turning it on, but all I could hear was some crackling and all I saw was a multicolored screen (on my Samsung A51). Somehow or another, a day or two later, when I tried turning my phone on it did turn on but it went into a boot loop. I leave it be for about a week-and-a-half, try turning it on again, and it turns on but keeps booting into safe mode even after restarting the phone (I also notice that it takes at least 30 seconds longer for my phone to boot up). By the time the "PackFreshUSA: Nine Lives Wet Phone Fix – Premium Desiccant" came in the mail it had been a little under 3 weeks since the incident at the beach. I took apart my phone, put all the components inside, and waited 2-and-a-half days before taking everything out and reassembling. My phone still continues to boot into safe mode even after restarting. It could possibly be an issue of corrosion and that I plugged in my charger (and turned it on) while the phone was still probably wet, but it seems that after 3 weeks from a glancing blow that my phone had completely dried out given that there was little to no improvement after using this desiccant. I have no doubt that it works for other people, but if your situation is similar to mine I would recommend just going to a Samsung repair shop and having them take a look at it.

A big gamble that did not work
My wife dropped her Samsung galaxy A70 phone in kitchen sink. Phone was in the water for seconds. Phone was sold to her with the claim it was water resistant.I got the phone to turn on. It would receive calls on the screenI learned how to reset to factory original.Problem was no touch to the screen produced any reaction.Bought the kit. Put phone in the bag with the desiccant for one day, no change. Returned to bag for second day. No change.I would not buy again. I understand the science of how it is to work but got no results.Bought a reconditioned phone of same make and model on Amazon. Rogers downloaded all her info from her Google account and the new phone looks and works like her original one.
