Ich kann die Leute mit ihren schlechten Beurteilungen nicht verstehen.. ich hab das Gerät vor etwa 1 Jahr gekauft! Und lade damit regelmäßig 3 verschiedene Autos, und 2 Motorräder! Das Gerät erkennt ausnahmslos IMMER welche Batterie angehängt wurde..Eine Batterie wird Erhaltungsgeladen! Sprich auch hier, kein Thema!Aber ich hab mich schlau gemacht und weis warum Fehler auftreten! Der Grund ist die falsche Bedingung!Es muss zuerst ausgesteckt bleiben..sprich zuerst wird das Rote Kabel an die den Pluspol geklemmt, dann das schwarze! (Vorsicht, verkehrt führt zum Kurzschluss, das schon den ersten Fehler darstellt, und das Gerät rauf Dauer schrottet) und dann sollte das Display angehen, und alle Daten der Batterie zeigen.. sprich ob 6V oder 12V und wie viel Saft die Batterie hat!Bei einer schwachen Batterie wird das bei etwas 12.0 - 12.4 V sein! Bei besseren Batterien zwischen 12.4V - 12.8VDann erst, soll man das Gerät an die Steckdose hängen, und somit geht das in die Ladung über!Das Gerät lädt dann bis etwa 13.4-14.2 V hoch.. dann wird das Display blau, und es steht „FULL“ im DisplayDanach wird nicht weiter geladen!Macht man das regelmäßig, wird die Batterie sogar 10 Jahre halten!Bei Autos von heute ist eine Tiefenentladung kaum möglich, denn der CPU im Auto wird versuchen alles ab zu schalten, um die Startung zu gewährleisten!Die wichtigsten Punkte nochmal:ZUERST Rotes Kabel an den PluspolDanach Schwarzes Kabel an Karosserie (sollte immer so gemacht werden, da auch der IBS das dann erkennt)Erst danach sollte das Ladegerät in die Steckdose!So hält eure Batterie und das Ladegerät lange durch! 😉

I used this product to charge the battery of a Volkswagen Golf MK7. Please find below the instructions which worked for me. I have also attached 2 photos.Charging the battery:1) Make sure the charger is not plugged to a socket2) Remove the battery cover3) Connect the red (+) charging cable to the positive pole of the battery4) Connect the black (-) charging cable to the bodywork. There is a positive earthing located close to the battery on the top. See the photo below.Never connect the black (-) charging cable on the negative pole of the battery!5) Connect the charger to a socket6) The default program is for standard lead acid batteries. It is what I used for the Golf MK7. The charger’s LCD should show a number of bars depending on how much energy is left in the battery. The last bar should blink. It means it is charging.Last time I charged it, after 3 hours the battery had one additional bar. And it was charged at 60%.Stopping the charging:1) Pull the plug of the charger out of the socket2) Disconnect the black (-) charging cable from the bodywork3) Disconnect the red (+) charging cable from the positive pole of the battery4) Put back the battery coverThe car is ready to be started.

Zu dem Thema "Gerät lädt nicht und Modustaste läßt sich nicht betätigen":Batterie angeschlossen, Spannungswert: 9,6V, Modus lässt sich nicht verstellen, über Nacht dran gelassen: Batterie nicht geladen: Gerät zurück geschickt und neu bestellt.Das neue Gerät verhielt sich genauso. Den Techniker unter der oben genannten Nummer angerufen: der fand das merkwürdig, konnte aber auch nicht helfen.Dann habe ich gespielt: Gerät nirgendwo anklemmen, Modustaste Drücken und Festhalten, Netzstecker stecken,: das Gerät zeigt dann 13V, wenn man dann die Modustaste drückt, zeigt es 0,00: das ist der Strom, wenn man jetzt die Batterie anklemmt, lädt es!Nach einer Weile Ladung verhielt es sich dann nach erneutem Ab-und Anklemmen, wie in der Anleitung beschrieben.......Fazit: Wenn die Batterie in einem instabilen Zustand ist, weiß der angebliche Mikroprozessor nicht, was er machen soll.Immerhin kann man dann manuell laden. Das ist aber nirgendwo beschrieben....

Wintertime and lack of use of the cars is a sure fire way if flattening the battery abs with lock down and no trips into the office and no garage it’s odds on the batter will flatten which it did .This small compact charger really surpassed my expectations having been used to the great heavy ones of the past .Just plug in an electric extension cable from the house and sit this on the engine block and plug in and just let it do it’s work .. love the design and it charged the battery in a few hours .The hardest job was keeping the house warm as the window was openGreat price too

Nice simple bit of kit, the auto function works great and running older cars and bikes as I do the need for a good charger is a must and this is far better than I expected. It is only a 20watt charger so it's no fast charge but that can damage old style battery's but it trickle charges very well. Well worth having in the work shop
