Family Tree Wall Decor - Vinyl Wall Art Photo Frame Stickers, Living Room Home Decor (Black)

This wall decal is AWESOME!!! I am so thrilled with it! I put it up behind my bed and will eventually move the starry lights on my headboard to my wall so it looks like the tree has lights, but for now, I'm just enjoying the tree. I love, love, LOVE it!!!!!It wasn't too difficult to put up, but it WAS time-consuming - and I did it just fine on my own. You get two rolls of "stickers" in the package. I spent an hour cutting the branches out and then laid them out flat on a table overnight, with something heavy on them in hopes they'd straighten out a bit (not much). I followed method 1 - which is just peel and stick. (Make sure your wall is free of dust & lint.) I started by cutting away just an inch of the white backing, then lining the exposed branch sticker up with whatever other branch I'm connecting to, then once aligned and ensuring it was securely adhering to the wall, I'd slowly roll the backing off the rest of the branch and press it to the wall as I went. Once properly in place, I 'burnished' it with a handy little tool I already had (e.g., scraped a hard flat edge against the sticker to enforce adhesion). THIS PART IS IMPORTANT!!!!! You need to 'burnish' each branch after you stick it to the wall (and go from thick end to thin ends) since light sticking sometimes leave trapped air that makes it bunch up in tiny sections - burnishing releases the air and in some cases minutely expands the size of the sticker. Then once all the branches are in place, you can start with the leaves. (Note, I didn't follow the picture - I just used my own best judgement - and I like the result even better.)Anyway, it's only been 3 days but I'm in love with my bedroom now. (I also put up quotes I ordered separately - the one in the left corner of my picture is NOT part of this package!!) Am now perusing other stickers to put in other rooms in my house - I might even have to get this one again and put it in my basement.

I am really excited about this tree!!! It sat for 2 weeks after arriving because I was scared that I would mess it up. My wall has an orange peel texture and the description says for smooth walls. Worried about the adhesion, I started with spray on glue. Big mistake!! It created bubbles in parts and made the vinyl appear rippled. Even in light coats. Being frustrated and already started, I just stopped using the adhesive and just hoped for the best. It has been a month of multiple temperature changes and the vinyl is still sticking well to the wall. It looks amazing! I am by not a crafty art person and I was able to put it up alone. It took me several hours and I placed the leaves just where the picture shows. There were not enough leaves left over to pile up near the base as the picture shows but there were enough for the tree branches. I added some tiny string lights and it looks like a park setting inside my home. <3 Absolutely love this product.....you have been warned about the spray glue. :)Update July 2020–still holding strong. Nothing has peeled off through winter furnace or summer humidity. Still love it and get compliments from everyone who sees it.

I was hesitant to order this because it was a decal that came in many sections. However, I’m SO GLAD I did! The instructions were clear and simple. The quality is fantastic and way better than I had anticipated. Okay, yes...the leaves took a while because they needed to be placed individually. That kinda sucked, not going to lie. But it took just over an hour for this to be completed. You will definitely need two people to apply this properly!! I might’ve bribed my son to help, but he’s over 6’ and this was taller than him...I gave him life so he can help with a decal. Plus I can just take his picture out of the tree, right? Come to think about it, you can add or discard family members at will! I have gotten tons of compliments on this and am very happy with this purchase! Now let’s see how long until I’m swapping out pictures 😏

Update: nearly six months later, in a high-humidity town next to a beach, this wall decal looks as good as it did the day I put it up. Totally worth the investment.Let me start by saying: wow, that was a lot of individual leaves. But let me also say that this looks really great on my wall right now. It’s big, and detailed, and very sticky. It took a very blank wall and turned it into easily the most interesting view in the room.Getting it on the wall wasn’t terrible alone, but it easily could have been frustrating. I recommend using the transfer paper, or doing what I did and sticking the tips to the wall loosely and then working on lining up the edges and repositioning the tips after. Or have a friend around!Having stuck, removed, and restuck this on my slightly textured wall, I feel confident both that this won’t damage my semigloss paint, and will remain stuck to the wall for the next few years until we have to move again.

This was a project but so well worth it! There are easy directions that come with it and you are basically putting numbered puzzle pieces together. This is not a one person job. You definitely need two or more. Solicit a couple of hours for this. I had fun putting it up with my husband and three teen kids. It is great for quality time and perfect for teaching teamwork! I have been searching for the perfect tree for my wall and this is it! Follow the instructions from washing the wall prior to how to put the decals on. The end result is rewarding! Have fun!**Update! 3 years later and it is still beautiful on my wall!

What i didn't like was that all the stickers were on one large sheet and it was difficult peeling the individual pieces off of the sheet. Individual sheets would have been better.
