Not for sensitive skin. Works great for my skin type. Stings a little but I don’t might as long as I see the results. I just follow with ponds cold cream.

My teenage daughter loved it more than me. She claimed it has cleared her acne scars. Now I have to share with her. Conveniently packed in two's.

I wanted to try this soap for it’s skin lightening properties. Time will tell if it helps with that. The soap itself has a light almost floral scent. I can deal with the scent since I’m not scrubbing my whole body with it. The bars are about palm-sized and have a nice density to them. They lather ok.The box states that kojic acid is derived from the fermentation process when Japanese saki is made. Good enough. However, the ingres don’t list kojic acid as the first ingredient as Id expect. It’s further down. Not sure how much kojic acid is actually in these bars and how much is glycerin and other stuff first.Oh well, if it is effective I’m ok with using the product. Claims to also help with acne but I don’t need it for that. Will update this review with any changes in skin, positive or negative.

The Kojic Acid Soap comes in a package of two bars of about 2.8 ounces each. This is a relatively small size for bath soap. The soap is in the shape of a brick with sharp edges, not rounded as shown on the web page. It is salmon colored. The ingredients include: kojic acid, hyaluronic acid, and botanical extracts. The soap lathers well, is pleasant to use. It cleans without drying. My skin felt very nice after my shower. I do not know if it really lightens skin, but the soap feels good.

Eight bucks for two small squares of specialty soap isn't outrageous. But it didn't really do anything for me.The fragrance was very light and didn't linger at all. But it reminded me of summer raspberries on the farm, and no where was raspberries listed, so I'm not sure what I was smelling.After using almost a whole square, I did think the perpetual "tan" on my arms was a bit lighter. However, it either did nothing for my acne breakouts, or it made them worse. It was hard for me to tell as spring and I are problematic friends at best.It also did nothing for the darker acne scars on my neck or the perpetual redness on my face.So if you're getting this for the skin lightening affect, it might be worth your time and money, but for any of the other claims I say skip it.
