Working as expected
This thing did not work at first. I wasn't going to request a replacement because they're in the UK and it would take another month to arrive. They reached out to me, and I was impressed by their customer service. Because the flashlight was kind of old, I decided to buy a new one and try the bulb in that. It works now, so it wasn't their bulb, it was the old flashlight.I don't think that the bulb is much brighter than the one that came in the maglight, but it should last a lot longer.The 5 stars is actually 4 for the bulb plus 1 for the impressive customer service.

Plug n play.
Not the first product I have bought from Torch Upgrades. Will not be the last.Rescued a friend's 2x AAA from the recycle bin.Replaced the burnt out Xenon bulb with this. Added 2 AAA lithium batteries.It lives again.And the friend wants it back.

It fits, it works, its bright
It fits, it works, its bright. I am very happy with this LED replacement. The only hard part was getting my existing Mini MagLite AAA bulb compartment apart to install the part. It has probably been 3 or 4 years since I opened the bulb compartment. Highly recommend

Great upgrade for a great flashlight
A little tricky to install, but good light when done

Does not fit
Tried installing this bulb. It has a thick base that prevents the flashlight head from going on so I removed the head cap and put the head body back on (long piece, the main head cap holds the lens and reflector) THEN put the bulb in and couldn't get the head cap back on. The bulb does light up but you just can't and I mean CAN'T get the head on over the bulb. Damn shame, too, as it's advertised as a really bright flashlight bulb that would greatly increase the usefulness of the AAA 2 cell maglite.
