i have been consumed and use for cooking with LuAnn brand for a long time until i was informed that LuAnn"s coconut oil is chemically processed and full of saturated fat. What a davastaing thing to know! i have researched and this brand is the very best so i purchased. This better be good as it says and for the price i paid. It has very mild coconut taste which is good.

This, I thought, was going to be returned but it is quite good for the price. I like using it as a moisturizer because it does not leave your skin oily. It’s good for consumption and cooking. It comes in a real glass container, ready to use. I will purchase it again if cost permits.

Honestly I’ve hated coconut oil, and anything coconut-related since I was a kid which was always heartbreaking given my awareness of its benefits. I decided to give Dr. Bronner’s a try one day and I can easily say It’s the best coconut oil on the market, that I have officially been a DB coconut oil lover ever since and that i’m never going back. To me it’s reminiscent of buttery popcorn with a lovely rich flavor/soft melty texture, while also being up to my standards in terms of quality (fair trade/regenerative/ USDA organic certification). I now use it for cooking foods stovetop, to tempering chocolate, to baked goods, to having my dog take his morning enzyme capsules in a small ball of this coconut oil too every morning (which he LOVES). I actually bought myself a new jar to restock just in time for Christmas, and have now been able to slowly venture out in terms of coconut related food attempts. I am Super thankful for this product because after 33 years of despising coconuts I can say I love Dr. Bronner’s.

I was surfing around Youtube and I came across a video by Dona Camaj on her haircare routine. She highly recommended this specific brand of coconut oil. Recently I bleached my black medium to thick hair for the first time and only after a couple of weeks my hair felt very brittle and dry so at that point I didn't see it has a harm to try out hair masking with oils. Something you should notice about the product is that it comes in a solid form, not liquid. Some people prefer to use the microwave or other tools to help the oil get into a liquid state. However I just simply scoop out a tablespoon or a couple of tablespoons out of the jar, put the product in my hands, and just rub my hands together. The consistency of coconut oil is not as dense or thick as other oils. It has more of a butter-like texture so it doesn't stay as long as baby oil would. Make you sure when you're done using this product that you leave it in the refrigerator or other places that are cold. I made this mistake the first time and it left a huge mess in my bathroom. My first try with this product was very successful. I massaged the oil into my hair and left it overnight. In the morning I shampooed my hair with warm water, added a dime-sized amount of conditioner, and washed everything out with cold water. Then I just air dried and lord and behold my hair felt smooth and soft. I also noticed an increased rate of growth in my hair. I continue to do this routine about 2-3 times a week. This product is not just for hair it can also used for skincare. Sometimes after showers when I notice my skin is drier than usual I just scoop a tiny bit of coconut oil, rub my hands together and just distribute along dry areas of my body. I've also tried oil pulling with this product. I feel that coconut oil works the best for oil pulling mainly because it won't cause any stains on your teeth and the taste is much more tolerable than other oils. I'm considering to buy a second jar just for diet purposes. I'm hoping to see just as good results in a nutritional aspect.

I bought this coconut oil to use as lotion. But I have to tell u ,once u open the jar and taste it,u won't want to put it down . It's so delicious.
