I have a red tabby about to turn 18. He's been on nutro his whole life. He's always been free fed never been overweight. He has slimmed down as to be expected with age. Tried giving him a more "premium" brand and he absolutely did not want to transition. I have since added some wet food into his daily diet. Also nutro. My only issue ever has been availability. Before Amazon I would have to go to a pet supply store for nutro. Walmart etc only sell garbage food that should really change.

I have two cats, now 13 and 14 years old, respectively. My ex-gf got me started on feeding them Nutro when I got the first kitten years ago. The product has changed names a few times, now being called Nutro "Wholesome Essentials" - but it is essentially the same product, as for as I can tell. As an aside, I'm curious to see if there's much difference between this and the new "Grain Free" type that Nutro now offers. I started them out with Nutro for Kittens, then progressed to Adult and later the Indoor varieties, and in the last few years have been feeding them the Senior Indoor type. That said, I feel that feeding my cats Nutro has been one of the best decisions I've made for my little critters. While it's not uncommon for cats to develop feeding issues as they get older, my guys have always loved the Nutro I feed them every day. I give them about a teacup-full size portion daily, and I find that this makes a 14lb bag last about two months. In the entire time I've had them on this diet, my cats have never had any dietary issues or undue sickness or infection, at all. It's actually incredible to me that they've faired so very well, and I give no small amount of credit to the balanced nutrition they get from Nutro.

We adopted a 16lb 7 year old cat and we didn't know what kind of eating habits that he had. The guy likes to eat, period! A 16 lb cat can, and will eat a lot and this immediately became an issue for us. We wanted something with natural ingredients and a best value for price per unit, to stretch our dollar. Previous foods he kept craving and whining for, telling me that there was something that was triggering his reward and compulsive centers that kept him meowing all hours for more in his bowl. With this brand, we feed him between 3/4 cup to 1 cup per day, once in the morning, and it sustains him until the next day. We are on par to get 2.5 months out of this 14lb bag which breaks down to $0.48 a day. Thats a good value in my book. Lastly, his stool. He has a habit of not covering his litter and while on other foods, there was a terribly foul odor coming from his pans. He still doesnt cover his litter, but since switching, we no longer wake up to a foul smell encompassing the entire first floor. Rather, a smell, coming from his litter box area.

We ordered this for three housecats, and this 13-lb bag seemed to work well. Our oldest cat passed away, and we found that the large bag wasn't consumed quickly enough to stay fresh. I'd consider ordering a smaller bag and having it delivered more frequently to keep the product really fresh. It's really a concern with high-quality kibble, because the cheap stuff is basically corn and filler. This is not, so there's more to become spoiled in it. The cats really love it, though.

My cat loves nutro and I couldn't find it anywhere had to order off of amazon

My cat is 14 years old and she has always been thin and more of a “grazer”, but recently she had begun drastically dropping weight. She was hardly able to keep food hard and vomiting about every other day (if not every day at the worst of it). She was literally skin and bones and went from being a playful and vivacious cat to sleeping about 23 hours a day. We were feeding her Blue Buffalo (sensitive stomach formula) because we thought it would help her keep food down and I thought it was working for a while until she just could hardly keep it down. I was desperate to find another formula and out of “next day delivery” desperation, ordered this one. I’m not exaggerating when I say I think this food saved my cats life. She’s eating way more than she has been and has only thrown up twice in the 3 weeks since we’ve been feeding her this food. She’s put on some needed weight and she seems to have more energy. I’m hoping this trend continues so that she can stay healthy.

My 14 yr. old cat is by far the pickiest cat when it comes to her food. She only drinks fresh running water, albacore tuna is the only wet food she won’t turn her nose up at and this dry food is the only one she will eat consistently that actually gives her wholesome nutrients that she needs. I tried out several different brands and this is definitely her favorite in regards to taste that doesn’t break the bank like the other more expensive natural brands.

My Ragdoll cat has been eating only this for 14 years. He has no interest in canned cat food or any other dry cat food although I have offered these to him.

After trying several premium quality dry foods, I've found that Nutro is the one my cats prefer most. If you're looking for a good quality food at a reasonable price, try Nutro. Shipping was really quick too.

Delivery was quick. Cat did not want to try it and going by my cats reaction it was a waste of my money. I add it gradually but two weeks later he only gets ill from it.

I have old cats. They are used to have new food every pouch. Ive tried MANY brands. All with similar results ( even tought my cats seem to like the Science Diet a bit more). This food is complete junk. Makes my 3 cats vomit! Ill try for a refund ASAP
