Beautiful!
This range hood is simply beautiful. It is sleek and sharp looking and the positioning of the lights adds so much illumination to my kitchen. It was extremely easy to install and I couldn't be happier with its look. The stainless steel fits in well with almost any kitchen decor. I spent a great deal of time researching these before I purchased and this one seems to strike a perfect balance between cost, looks and functionality. Highly recommended.

I would Recommend. No fan rattle or scrape.
I was hesitant to buy due to the reviews about unbalanced fan or scraping. I saved the box in case I would need to return. The fan does not rattle. No metal scraping. Smooth. Maybe a SMALL bit louder on high, but no more than a three-speed floor box fan. Maybe the people who say the fan is not aligned have not installed it LEVEL. I would think being level is important. Bright lights. I have not used it for cooking bacon yet so I don’t know about the suction power. CON: Not really a con because I guess ANY brand would do this. Due to the hot air from outside coming in through the vent, meeting with inside cold air conditioning, there is a condensation build-up inside so, that may cause rust over time, and when turning on the fan w the condensation, there are little pings where the droplets of water hit the fan as they are being sucked out. But yeah, yhe fan is strong enough to suck out the droplets of condensation. Now I can throw away the box.

The suction power of ventilation working good
When its working the sound is very loud. The suction power it’s good, looks nice, has a light.

Not bad for a budget hood
The fan is powerful and the lights are bright but it is a noisy unit. The motor spools like a jet engine and the air blowing out is loud in high. But it is a powerful motor at a low price so i doubt there's anything quieter without going into the 300 range. My low rating is largely due to the poor sheet metal in the top of the hood. This is where you would screw the unit into the Cabinetry. It's very flimsy and made the unit appear as if it was sagging. I had to drill custom holes to get the unit to sit correctly.

Nice DIY addition to our kitchen.
Our old range unit was almost 15 years old. The fan was getting so noisy you could hardly stand to be in the kitchen. This unit looks great and is quiet enough on low and medium fan speed to talk on the phone in our small kitchen, on high speed you might want to step into another room. I didn't realize how dim the light was on our old unit until I installed this one, unbelievable, we can now see what's cooking. Installation was relatively easy I was fortunate enough that this unit's exhaust fan lined up with existing duct work. Our cabinets were custom built around the old unit so I needed to install some molding to give it a finished look, not a big deal. The stainless steel looks good and fits in nicely with the kitchen. My wife likes the easy clean filters, we'll just pop them in the dishwasher every time we run it.

Defective out of the box.
Terrible product. Certainly looked okay, (white) was at the right price point, BUT installation was tough- the mounting screw holes were too close to the edge to get my screwgun in the appliance without setting the screws on a sharp angle, and the box for the electricals wouldn't fit, and then the piece of junk made horrible metal on metal noises when turned on, if the fan went around at all. (!) Straight back to Amazon- a bigger hassle for a range hood than a coffee maker! At least their return policy is good- but I wish they wouldn't market products from companies ( in a certain unnamed country) -with no concept of quality control. Oh-replaced it with a Zephyr Breeze- similar look ,$30 more, made in a different country and no problems at all.

Great Range Hood
So far, no problems, easy to install and powerful, , my old hood was the $30 0ne, ductless hood, because there was no room for a short run duct. I had to open up my ceiling and run about 10 ft of duct horizontally, and 2 ft vertically, and install a roof cap. I have no problems venting the odors and smoke out.

Much Better Than The Hood I Replaced
I do not have a lot of experience using range hoods. I had a Braon Allure range hood that was 18 years old. This Ancona Slim SDW330 is a comparably priced hood. There were plastic clips that held the aluminum filters on the Broan. These broke after about 8 years of use and I used duct tape to hold them in place. The Ancona has no plastic parts that I could see and is noticeably better constructed. The fan at high speed is far superior to the Broan. It is much louder but it can be turned down to medium or low if you don't need great air flow and that is much quieter. I fry steak with a cast iron skillet and this keeps the smoke from filling my house. One complaint is the light bulbs, they are not real bright, I replaced mine with 7W LED's for less than $10.00.

Very nice range hood for the price but the total enclose motor I don't like heats too much make this motor fewer years or months depends on the usage before trouble arrives, very powerful if installed 6" duct pipe

PRIX TRÈS ABORDABLE
J'ai installer cette hôte dans un logement et pour le prix elle convient très bien. Peut être un peu bruyant mais efficace.

I’d buy it again.
It is just plain and simple. Works well and the price was right.

need extra job on installation.
1-suction power has not much difference on medium and high, loud noise on high speed, yet acceptable. 2- better replace the halogen bulbs with led bulbs, you'll be happy using bright white bulbs, the halogen bulbs come with turn VERY HOT after a couple minutes. 3- I have to drill 2 more screws next to the motor to hang the hood up so that the fan blades won't hit the fan cover resulting some more noise because the sheet metal is a little weak to hold the motor up properly. other than those, ok with this price range.
