This is the second time we ordered the clock for a family member. The first clock was purchased in November 2022. It went kaput almost four years later. It is still a value. You can see the clock from a recliner 10 feet away. It is greatly appreciated and most importantly relied upon. A similar looking digital clock was given to another family member and the screen was very dim and the lettering was hard to read.

I love this clock! I immediately knew it was the right purchase. It's big enough and small enough at the same time, if you know what I mean. Very easy to read from far away both on the day time and the night time. It dims at night if you want it to. Nice contrast between the background and the letters and numbers. It has many features that I am not taking advantage of, but I'm so happy with it. It has a battery backup in case of power outages, which I have already experienced. It's great! There's many options out there for you to buy (I returned a different model before keeping this one), but I love this one.

This DIGITAL PLUG IN CLOCK IS AWESOME!!!!! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I saw one at a client’s house and knew I must order one for my Aunt & Uncle! They both LOVE THIS CLOCK!!!! My Aunt has Alzheimer’s and my uncle is beginning to get either dementia or Alzheimer’s. She would continuously ask me what time it was what day it was what month it was, but of course never remembered that now she can see all of that right in front of her every moment he is also getting I believe dementia as he is forgetting major things that his mind was a sharpest attack before, but now not so much. He has actually told me twice today how much he loves this clock and I got it yesterday but just actually got it put up today. The neatest thing about the clock. All you do is plug it in and it is automatically set already you don’t do anything plug it in That’s it. It is already set for the day of the week the time of the day or night whatever time you plug it in that’s what’s going to show. It’s amazing how simple it was to set it up. I love this clock and anyone with Alzheimer’s patients or dementia patients Should have a clock like this that gives them all the information they need right in front of their face all the time!!! Yes it is expensive but if it last as long as it should, it will be well worth it. Just the fact that I’m not hearing those questions constantly about what time is it? What day is it? What month is it is such a blessing for me if you have a person in this situation I strongly urge that you get one of these clocks you will not regret it. You will love it as much as I do and as much as they do!!! In my personal opinion this makes this clock worth every penny!

I gave this gift to a relative who is 100, and he said enthusiastically, “this clock has everything I need!” It is attractive and easily programmable, although not for the 100-year-old set. I highly recommend it. It’s very easy to set up as well.

I purchased this dementia clock because I wanted something with a large, easy-to-read digital display, and this one does a great job in that area. The screen is clear and bright, and I like that you can choose between white or yellow display options depending on your preference. The size of the numbers makes it especially helpful for seniors or anyone who needs better visibility. One feature I was interested in was the message function. While it does include preset reminders, the options are fairly limited. I do wish it allowed users to create and customize their own messages, as that would make it even more useful for personalized reminders. Overall, this is a good clock with a clear display and helpful features, but it would be even better with more flexibility in the message settings.

This was the perfect solution for my parents. Both have memory issues and be confused on the day of the week and time of day. This clock makes them feel independent because they dont have to keep asking for help. One glance and they can find the day and time. Bonus is knowing if it is morning or night! Both are giddy about their "fancy" clock! Best purchase for memory care patients, ever.

Setup is easy with internal back-up battery. Excellent readability. Fit perfectly on a mantle. Brightness in a dark room could almost double as a nightlight. Appearance would fit with any decor. Lacks doubling as a thermometer.

We purchased this clock for my 96 year old mother-in-law. She was beginning to get confused about what day it was, and whether it was AM or PM. We wanted to get her a clock that she could easily read day or night, and would clearly spell out the time, date, and weekday. The clock did this wonderfully, as well as also indicting (spelling out) "afternoon", or "morning", "before dawn", etc. Unfortunately she passed away, only having the clock for a short time, so we ended up getting the clock back. I had, in the past, looked for a digital clock to be used in our family room, next to the TV. I wanted something that looked half decent, and was easy to read in the light as well as in the dark. We never found one we really liked, as the ones we tried were too bright, or didn't have a light, and always looked like old computer screen lettering. To we tried the Day Clock. It was great. First of all, it looks PERFECT. It's almost hard to believe that the clock screen contents change. It looks like its been painted professionally onto the screen. Secondly, it lights up, and is easy to read, and at night it dims so that it's still easy to read the clock, without distracting from the TV. It's also easy to adjust. The settings are both simple, and intuitive. My wife (who rarely tries to change electronic clock times) easily changed the time, for Daylight Savings Time. This highlights the only thing that I can think of to perhaps make this clock better - a Daylight Savings Time change button. Another nicety, is that it still keeps the time accurately, and when the power goes off, it will continue at the correct time when power is restored. So, as you may have gathered, we are very happy with this clock, and highly recommend it - for seniors, and for the rest of us.
