It works great for baking!
I use this for cooking low carb baked goods. It mixes well into my muffins and such. It has no interfering flavor and is a decent price. No complaints here,

Solid Whey Product
Product is exactly as advertised. You're getting a kilo (or whatever size you ordered) of unflavored whey powder that holds together and dissolves surprisingly well - though pretty much always mix my whey into oatmeal or something similar, so the heat could be helping out there - but in any case, this is a pretty solid product. Unflavored might seem like a turnoff to some, but I've never really cared much for taste, and in an odd way, it seems to make what you added it to more hearty and wholesome. So for those that are concerned with palatability or gustatory eating, keep that in mind. Minimal clumping and minimal stick; this stuff is truly dry and will not stick to anything unless steam or humidity gets into the package or your scooper - as is the case with pretty much any other whey, or anything dehydrated for that matter. The whey comes out of the bag clean and comes off and out of the scooper clean. Speaking of which, on a quick side note, the scoop I used is one from another whey product, as this does not come with its own scooper. On one hand, that's a bit of a detriment if you don't have your own scooper, but on the other hand, it saves resources when you think that not every single package of whey will come with a scooper that may or may not get thrown out. Also, the ziplock opening may seem like it's not able to close at first, but it's really just from the shifting and settling of the contents in the slider. You can either force-press the zips together like I did or just brush it off back into the package, and then you'll get it to close - if that happens to be the case with you as it was with me. Plus, I should mention that you should BE CAREFUL when you're using a fat or pointy knife to open the box; you might poke a few holes in your whey since this is in a packet/package/pouch as opposed to the containers/tubs of other protein companies. But anyways, that's essentially BulkSupplements Whey in a nutshell. It's not anything spectacular, but what it does, it does well. I'm not one that subscribes to the theory of downing whey after every single workout the moment I drop the barbell. I use whey just as it is described as; a "supplement." It's really just a simple way for me to get some extra good quality protein in, particularly on days where I've felt that my total intake was low, and also when I really don't feel like eating much. I would definitely recommend this product just off of the fact that you can get a good amount of quality whey in bulk. I got the bulk creatine from this company a year ago and I was pretty pleased with what I got. Same goes here.

Simple & affordable.
So in my opinion, protein is protein and if you put a good effort into your workout. Any basic protein is all that's needed. I don't buy into the hype of those extra "additives" others put into their product and the claims they make about what they can do. The price point is what I look for when choosing a protein. I'm always looking into buying in bulk. This stuff seems to hit the nail on the head. The price per kilo is great. I chose 5 kg of their 80% clean whey. Price per pound is about $8.45. Not to bad. In my order I received five 1kg bags. I was kinda disappointed at first because I was expecting a huge bag, but the small bags are actually a better packaging idea since it ensures the product will stay fresh. The packaging itself is very simple. My guess is they use the same bags for most of their products they sell in that size. They info label is very simple as well, but is only because this protein is very simple in ingredients. The protein itself is very fine and mixes well when stirred thoroughly, but If shaken it will come out very airy. Clumps of protein aren't really a problem if preparation is taken when mixing. So take your time mix to ensure a clump free shake. The taste is not the greatest, but you have to remember that there's only two ingredients. It's possible to take it solo, but mixing with something else doesn't hurt. Overall I'm pleased with the protein. It's hits most (90%) of the things I'm looking for. It gets 4 stars only due to the bag having a very cheap single zip seal. Due to the powder being fine. The zip seal will tend to get clogged and prevent a seal. May a double zip seal is in order. Other than that I sure when it's time to re-supply, bulk supplement is what I'll get.

Neutral flavor is perfect for creative new flavors of protein bars!
Love that there is no taste to this protein powder, so you can literally create whatever flavor you want! I don't like having to sip on shakes for meals or snacks, so I use this to make protein bars! The neutral flavor means I can make sweet or savory bars and I make creative flavors every time! Here's a recipe if you want to try them... For my bars, I use: ~ 3 to 4 tbls Vitafiber Syrup ( VitaFiber IMO Syrup, 2.64 lb., 28.4 fl. oz. ) ~ Sometimes I add a 1/2 tsp of flavors ( Lorann Oils Bakery Emulsion Bundle, Red Velvet Princess Cake Cream Cheese Pumpkin, 4 Fluid Ounce ) or even flavored water concentrates! (For savory options, try a scoop of Marmite, curry paste, bullion cube, etc.) Then I microwave this liquid for 2 minutes on power level 4 While heating the syrup, I mix: ~ 5 tbls of BulkSupplements CLEAN Whey Protein Powder *this product* if I am adding flavor or just choose a flavored protein you like ~ 1 tbls coconut flour ~ A few "chunks" of something yummy (For Sweet, this could be butter cookies, yogurt raisins, fiber one fruit snacks, etc. or for savory maybe add some chucked chicken, jerky sticks, nuts, crackers, whatever you want!) When the hot syrup is ready out of the microwave, I then mix the powder into the liquid until mixed well. I spoon the mixture into silicone bar pans ( Freshware SL-113RD 9-Cavity Narrow Silicone Mold for Soap, Cake, Bread, Cupcake, Cheesecake, Cornbread, Muffin, Brownie, and More ) and refrigerate for as little as a half an hour and they are ready to eat! See pics for more ideas! The unlabeled pics are "Garlic Onion Chicken Bars" and "Blueberry Muffin Bars" and a "Chia, Nuts & Seeds Blend Bar". I love this protein powder and the creative freedom it allows me to still be healthy without eating the same boring flavors. It is also a smooth powder that is never chunky and (to me) is plain enough to be a "clean slate" for new flavors! But just beware that if you try it, you'll probably never go back to flavored proteins again! Hope this is helpful - please click if it was!

Great protein powder
I was getting Naked Whey, which is my favorite protein powder out there. It contained only one ingredient, Whey Protein Concentrate. It was also 90 dollars for 5 lbs. So I went looking for another as my children would have complained if I chose protein powder over food for them, go figure. :) This powder contained only two ingredients: Whey Protein Concentrate and Soy Lecithin so I purchased it. My main concern over this product is the fact that it contains Soy Lecithin but looking at other similar products, all of them do, which is unfortunate. I do wish Bulk Supplements made a protein concentrate that contained only whey protein concentrate, as un-fermented soy in American diets is relatively well documented. But, knowing all this I made the purchase anyhow so my review doesn't reflect this as I knew all this when I was buying it. Just hoping Bulk Supplements makes a protein powder that contains ONLY Whey. As for the Whey, it had the expected whey flavor; which I don't find all that displeasing. It mixes very well with water and with milk. The taste was VERY similar to that of Naked Whey, with a slight.. other flavor(?) which I can only assume is the Soy Lecithin. Regardless, this is definitely a great protein powder for the price and will be purchasing this in the future. Now, if I can only convince my wife to allow me to get a larger size so I'm not buying month to month! Ultimately I've become a very big fan of Bulk Supplements products as they have, thus far, delivered quality products at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this powder

Very good!! Love it, clean product
I'm so happy bulk supplements offers products w/o all kinds of other "stuff", fillers, sweeteners etc. I'm super sensitive to Stevia, artificial sweeteners, a lot of "natural" ingredients and fillers, many products also add coconut which is highly allergenic for me, as well as other stuff to protein powders and I can't use them. It's very frustrating. This product is fantastic, it's fluffy not like a condensed powder, and I love that I can add my own flavor, real maple syrup, chocolate, or coffee to make a protein shake. It has a great clean taste, not gritty, seems smooth to me, and mixes well in a smoothie mixer. I was using a soy protein because it was all I could find that only had "protein" w/o all the other stuff but happy I found this, much better flavor and texture. i love it and looking fwd to using it daily to help up my protein intake as it's hard to get enough some days; i don't always have time to prep meals. I also will add this brand psyllium husk to help boost my fiber intake as well.

Great Product But Not Worth 29% Higher Price From Last Month
Update: Below 5 star review pertains to product bought a month ago at regular price. A month later found that the price had risen by ten dollars. That's a 29% INCREASE. Is that due to tariffs - if so I don't want any foreign crap, just pure whey from US cattle, so I won't be returning. Doubtful that shipping cost due to diesel increase amounts to $10 for 1 KG. I suspect pure naked greed not product so I just lowered my review to 1 star, wish I could give zero. I was able to buy 2lb bottles of Carlyle Grass Fed Whey Protein Powder for $36.99 from Target so I'm done with BulkSupplements. The Carlyle grass fed is also sold on here, B0BSR8HM93 , for an even better price per ounce, and according to camelcamelcamel the price has remained the same for an entire year. Bought this because it has no sweeteners or flavoring of any kind. Didn't even try mixing with food, just shook the dose (4 TBS) with 8oz cup of cold 2% milk and found it very tasty and refreshing post workout. The bag sucks but I happen to have some vintage Tupperware VI clear (13.5 Cup) airtight food storage canisters (which you can buy cheaply on fleabay), which is the perfect size for the entire bag of powder plus a scoop.

A Good Value For Protein Poders
I usually buy the flavored protein powders, but they have gotten so expensive. They also generally have only 20 to 25 servings, not enough to last a full month. This unflavored powder from Bulk Supplements fixes both of those issues. The unflavored doesn't taste the greatest if mixed with just plain water, but I usually mix my powders with milk. This one also dissolves great, so I put a couple heaped teaspoons in my coffee or mixed in a lemon water sweetened with stevia. Both work very well. As for not having a scoop, or being able to reseal the bag, I saved a container and scoop from my last flavored purchase and transferred the unflavored into that container and use the scoop. It works well for me. I do miss my vanilla flavored powders, but this just works better for me in the overall scheme of things. Mixing some in my coffees also adds a little extra protein to my day as I generally still do a full mix either in milk or lemon water. A great way to boost your protein intake without having to choke down an extra chicken breast every day to meet your protein intake goals.
