Finally! A product that REALLY does what it says!!!
When I ordered these I had my doubts, BUT these are AWESOME! Though the instructions show them being fastened after it appears that the sheet is on the bed, I found them MUCH easier to put on by starting on the sheet at the top of the mattress & clipping one side to the top part of the sheet before even putting the sheet on the mattress, then slid the cord under the mattress at the same time I fitted the sheet on & then clipped the other side of the sheet on the side of the mattress once it had been stretched over the corner. From there you can adjust the tension so it makes the corner fit snug. By doing it this way, you don't have to lift the mattress to try and clip the top part of the sheet, so it's much easier on your back & faster too. I have satin sheets which ALL seem to be made for matresses' 3+ feet thick so as a result the fitted sheet is WAY too big & with one turn in the night, simply pulls right off my regular sized mattress taking the top sheet & blanket with it. Before finding these little gems, it was necessary to totally remake the bed from scratch on a daily basis as everything would end up in a big jumbled mess from the night before. NOW, it makes up like a normal bed, & I don't have to struggle trying to tuck sheets & blankets in over & over knowing they will pull loose the minute I get into bed! Not to mention that when I move or turn over, the sheets STAY PUT & I don't end up with tons of wrinkled up bottom sheet underneath me. Since satin sheets are so slippery, it also helped that I got a set of 4 Sheet Grippers Set of 4 Sheet Grippers. Keeps Sheets Snug & Wrinkle-free, Holds Sheets in Place. Fits All Types of Beds for the top sheet. Between using the Bed Bands on the bottom & the Sheet Grippers on the lower section of the top sheet, I now sleep wrinkle free & ALL the covers stay on the bed the way they are SUPPOSED to! While the Bed Bands are SUPER EASY to install, a word of caution on the Sheet Grippers- these are EXTREMELY hard to put on if you have arthritis or any hand/wrist problems. Once they're on, they stay put & make the sheets do the same, however, be prepared to spend some time getting them on in the first place, & if you have serious hand/wrist issues, have a young person who does NOT have problems do it for you! ;-) Since sheet manufacturers seem to think we all sleep on triple thick matresses' and manufacture their sheets accordingly, the sheets simply do not fit the beds anymore & once that fitted bottom sheet gives way, the whole thing goes. All in all, these were one of the best purchases I have made in a while- if they work on satin sheets this well, I can imagine they would be just as effective on cotton sheets, so if you are having issues with your sheets slipping off your bed, give these a try- you will be wrinkle free!

These work!!
For a little background information, I have a king-sized, pillow topped mattress. Usually, if fitted sheets don't have elastic all the way around them, they tend to ride up and off my mattress. This tends to happen on my husband's side of the bed, because I think he moves around a lot more than I do throughout the night. In the past, I have bought "traditional" mattress straps--the kind with the adjustable slide and the loop and button closure. They work, until they break. They are cheap, maybe like $5...and you get what you pay for. Usually the strap breaks, but more often the button/loop closure breaks...easily. My last set broke, and I have been rotating two sheet sets that don't come off too easily. But they are getting worn out. Anyway, I received a sheet set for Christmas this year that I just love, however, within a night or two of sleeping on it, sure enough, it comes right off the mattress. Grr! I had enough, so I went on Amazon to see if there were any mattress straps out there other than the type I can find in my local stores, and that's how I found Original Bed Bands. To be honest, I did choke at the price of these, but I read the great reviews and decided to give them a try. After all, if they didn't work, I figured I would send them back. When I received the Original Bed Bands, first off I noticed that they look and feel like a high quality product. I liked that they have clamps that attach to the sheets, rather than a button. The elastic band is also thick and feels tough. I also liked the way you slide a button to adjust the band, and that the button locks to where you adjust it. They were very easy to put on the sheet. I started using the Original Bed Bands a week ago and my sheets have not moved. The fitted sheet has stayed tight and has not ridden up the side of the bed at all. I am impressed! I would not hesitate to buy a second set just to have on hand. I also plan on visiting their website because the Original Bed Bands apparently have other uses that people have discovered, and the website has details. So, if you hate, hate, hate your sheets riding up, and are sick of buying inferior sheet straps, give these a try!

Does the job, clips hold well
BLUF, we've been successfully using these in combination with two other sheet holding devices for about the last week or so. I wish they were longer as we had to use them at full length (and consequently lost the functionality of the center adjuster) because they are securing a fitted sheet on a California king mattress. We've gotten tired of wrestling with non-fitted sheets on our California king waterbed for several years and recently replaced the waterbed mattress with a California king coil spring, reversible mattress from The Original Mattress Factory. This model (Orthopedic adjustable) fits tightly enough in the waterbed frame making it a major challenge to lift out and make/adjust the sheets -- but not tightly enough to hold the fitted sheet in place in the long run. We purchased sheets from Amazon (ASIN# B06X6MBV92) that we like and used these Bend Band grippers combined with SheetLock fasteners (B01N5SIATD) and Original Sheet Suspenders (B0014AMBWK), also from Amazon, to make the fitted sheet stay put. Since the fitted sheet would have been a pretty loose fit on our 10-1/2 inch tall mattress, we used these Bed Bands in each corner. The clips themselves held very well to our particular sheets (which are a bit slipperier than plain cotton) when we tested it by tugging on them once secured to a sheet. Because we had them adjusted at full length, the only way we could set the tension was based on how far away we clipped the second clip along the adjacent side of the corner. The elastic cords in these Bed Bands seems to have stronger tension than straps that we've used and I suspect the elasticity of these corner "cords" will outlast that in the straps we installed elsewhere on the mattress. We used the Original Sheet Suspenders in a cross-shaped pattern and the SheetLock fasteners across the shoulder and foot areas to complement the Bend Bands. Since our mattress has no pillow-top portion and no memory foam, it's a rather solid, firm surface and I'm impressed that the sheet is held in place very well by these Bed Bands along with the two other gripping products. I'm deducting one star because they don't seem to be long enough to place where they would singularly hold a Cal king sheet in place. I'm not really certain any single solution would work over the long run. That said, I think if these were used alone on a twin or full mattress, they might have more overall sheet tightening results. Finally, I would note that the user has to be practical in adjusting the tension on the bands -- on this or any other similar products. The more tension you put on the elastic, the more likely you'll experience the clips slipping off the sheet. I think most of the manufacturers know this and don't make the clips so tight that they are more likely to *tear* the sheet than to *slip off* the sheet. If you're looking for military cot type of super taut sheets permanently, put heavy duty tarp clips (ASIN# B01KTULL80) on the sheet, tie cords tightly between them, then drop the mattress in place. Be sure you don't have a reversible mattress because I suspect those clips will leave noticeable indentations on the bottom side of the mattress!

These hold mattress cover in place, smooth under fitted sheet.
Works great! Attached to my Cal King puffy waterproof mattress cover (not memory foam) and these keep it in place, which keeps the fitted sheet in place. Put on mattress cover corners, then put on bed, smooth out, put on fitted sheet. No ripping through fabric. I definitely recommend!

Absolutely Wonderful, And Completely Solved My Problem!
Right away, I wanted to say that I've seen some negative reviews saying that the positive reviews are botted (which they most certainly aren't), and I would like to clarify that this is coming from someone completely genuine and real and I sincerely just LOVE these bands. They work wonders! I'm a super crazy sleeper. I mean like, in my sleep I'm pulling up the sheets with my hands, rolling around, throwing pillows off the bed kind of sleeper. While these bed bands didn't solve the problem of chucking my pillows across the room, they absolutely completely solved the sheets problem, which was THE most infuriating thing considering that my bed is in the corner of the room and the sheets are extremely difficult for me to put on as it is. These bands are made of a strong elastic band paired with metal clasps to attach to the sheets. The instructions included are very clear and easy to follow, and the bands themselves are super easy to set up! I had them all attached and working within 5 minutes of opening the package. It has been some time now since I have purchased these bands and they have never once failed me. They've never failed to keep my sheets down nor have they snapped out of place or broken at any point. They simply work, as the packaging states. I love these. If you are a heavy sleeper or just have a problem with your sheets coming up at night, these are THE solution!

Finally a real solution
I've used the suspender-style sheet retainers for a couple of years and while they work OK, they eventually pull one side of the sheet under the bed farther than the other, and the sides would still creep up and expose the mattress (Sealy Trueform memory foam). These Bed Bands keep my sheet centered and tight, even on the sides where it used to creep up. Also, they're easier to put on because you don't have to lift up the mattress as much. Recommended (with a safety caution - see below). Update: I reduced my original rating from 5 stars to 3 stars because I found out the hard way that these straps can be dangerous. I bought a new sheet set 2 days ago, and when I was attaching the first band to the fitted sheet, as I pulled on it to attach the second clip, the first clip came loose and shot my finger with enough force to bruise my fingernail bed badly and cause my cuticle to bleed profusely. Fortunately the blood only got on my clothes and not the new sheets. The metal clips are fairly heavy, but they don't have enough clip strength to prevent slipping off if enough force is applied to the elastic band. The solution is attach both clips to the sheet corner before attempting to put the corner over the mattress, and then keep your hands clear of the band in case one side snaps back on you. When I used sheet suspenders which span the entire length of the mattress this issue was never a problem because even if they came loose the clips couldn't snap back on you because they were much farther apart, and the weight of the mattress held them down. You have been warned!

Best sheet holders on the market!
I love these so much, that when we moved and I lost one of the ones we previously had, I purchased more! These are the best things since sliced bread...seriously! The bunjee-cord that is attached to them is really great, and very durable. The clips are made of strong metal, and sort of like "alligator clips", if anyone knows what those are. They open up, and then you can clamp them closed so that they don't open and release the sheet. The black plastic piece in the middle is so that you can either tighten or release the cord and make it tighter or looser. They hold fairly well, and it allows for a custom fit every time you put the sheets on. You clamp the metal piece to one side of the corner, and then clamp the other metal clip to the other side of the corner of the sheets. You can either do this before or after you put the sheets on, but my advice is to do it after, as it can really stretch out the elastic on the sheet if you do it before. Once you have the clamps in place, you can then tighten the bunjee cord to your preferred tightness, and then release. In the past, I've only used two of the clips for the fitted sheet, and it has held the sheet on fantastic. I plan to use only two clips in the future, and I place the two clips at the top of the mattress, where the pillows go. I have also purchased other bed elastic straps (I'm not sure what their brand name was) and they didn't even hold up one night! I kept them around, but found myself just moving them from side to side when I would clean or get new sheets out of the closet. They were just taking up space, so I donated them...that's how useless they were! These bands are the best, and I honestly refuse to use any other type. Trust me when I say that although there may be cheaper options available, these are absolutely worth it!

DON'T HESITATE *** EXCELLENT!!!
Just bought my third package! Works great on sheets as described and these are to hold a cloth tablecloth onto a folding table, which prevents a breeze (if used outside) blowing it around before finished setting table, as well as a guest accidently getting it caught in their lap and disrupting table when either sitting or getting up. (I suspect it would also work great on a wooden picnic table, but would need a tiny person to get under the table, where the folding table allows the table cloth to be applied before setting the assembled table on its feet. (I put a sheet on the floor to avoid the clean tablecloth from hitting the ground/floor. Can't wait to find other purposes for these! Also, I note if you are UNdecided whether to buy long or regular size, the long do shorten so they can be used for the same applications as the shorter ones. Also, these are well built and use an excellent quality of elastic. My first set has been in constant use for more than 14 months and shows no sign of wear.

Simple but expensive
These achieve their intended purpose and are well made. The clips have a good clamping force. The jaws of the clips are padded so they donโt rip the bed sheet over an extended period of use. Expensive compared to the Chinese varieties.

A must have if you have a pillow top mattress
First off, came faster than expected. We have a pillow top mattress and it seemed like every day we had to put our bed sheets back on after they slipped off. If you're looking at these, you know how annoying that is, to take all the pillows and covers off every day to fix it. Wasn't sure whether to get these or not, since $20 for some bands seemed like a waste; I'm not trying to sound like an infomercial, but even if these were $30, I'd still get them. They work well, and our bed sheets are still where they should be, without ripping our sheets.

Works great!
So far so good, have been using it for a month now and it has not come off since putting it on.

Easy to use
Does what I expected it to do. I was skeptical that it would keep my bedsheets from pulling out the corners but it holds them. I've had better nights sleep since.

So good purchased mulitple sets
We had bought a set of these before and they worked so well bought another 2 set for remaining beds in household. Easy to use and corners on fitted sheets no longer slip off. The adjustable band sizes helps to get the correct tightening adjustment. The metal clips are much sturdier than the plastic type. Package insert states "lifetime warranty" but will have to wait and see how effective that is since as to date have only used the first set for a little over 3 months. The items were sent quickly and arrived on time.
