Med-U-klick Twice-A-Day Medication Reminder

This super low tech pill reminder works well. I installed it onto my pill bottle by flipping the cap as to bypass the child lock. The device fits well into the little cup area in the cap. The 3M adhesive strips work well.

i originally wanted a timer cap but those were all sold out and im too impatient so i ordered this. great little product, easy to apply and use. 2 drawbacks: it's just a piece of plastic you manually slide over so if i put the pill bottle in my purse it can be slid and can mess me up. also it's hard to secure it to a rounded bottle so i have to put it on the cap and i can't flip it to the non-childproof cap. could be worse, great little tool and works like i need it to.

I wanted to like it, but the switch is just too loose. I have the switch on top of the pill bottle lid and the pill bottle is upright, inside a small bag that is stationary but usually on its side for storage. Just that little bit of movement - being put inside a bag and then sideways - has shifted the switch.I can tell by the end of the month if I've missed doses, and I have missed because of this. I even put some contact lens solution on the switch to try to make it stickier, but that didn't work. Hairspray might have, but I didn't have any and wasn't about to buy hairspray just to try to temporarily fix it. (And I would have undoubtedly had to reapply once it got rubbed off.) I finally gave up and bought timer caps. They're a lot more expensive and, according to reviews, sometimes don't last long, but so far it's working a lot better.Fun fact, I'm writing this review in the middle of the night after hoovering a sleeve of ritz crackers. Depression and food cravings are side effects of my missing a dose, you see. 🤣

The "switch" moves to easily when you take the lid off. It needs to be tighter so you have to click it, not just slide it over.

Cheap and potentially could work, but I find the switch loose and I tend to forget to use it. Ymmv

This should go without saying I guess, but this device only really makes sense for twice a day dosing. I didn’t really think it through before purchasing, and only when I put them on my (daily) med bottles did I realize my error. :p

I have a couple of pills that I need to take twice daily - this is a helpful reminder so I don't forget if I've taken them or not. I just put it on the lid rather than the bottle, so I can swap lids with each new prescription.
