Evo Dyne Cutting Oil 2-Pack 8 oz Metal Cutting Fluid Made in USA

I'm a hobby machinist with a pretty well equipped home shop. I had been using some cutting fluid from Ridgid which works okay, but it stinks and smokes a lot. I decided to look for an alternative when I'm not running flood coolant and decided to give this a try. After using it for various machining jobs, including turning, threading, tapping, and milling, I feel like I can give my overall impression. This product seems to lubricate well across all use cases I've put it through. A little goes a long way which is nice in terms of product consumption. It does smoke a bit, especially if doing heavier drilling or milling, but it's near odorless which is a big improvement over the previously mentioned Ridgid cutting fluid I have been using. If I had to give it a single critique, I wish that the viscosity was a little thicker. While a little goes a long way, you may use more simply because it flows out pretty well. It's a pro and a con depending on what you're doing. It's not the cheapest product out there, but after a decent test drive, I'm satisfied with it. I also like that it's easy to clean up, but the lubricity and lack of odor are the things which have won me over. Unless something drastic happens, or I find a product which is even better, I see myself buying this again in the future. If you're doing any of the operations I mentioned, you may want to give this a try. Update Late August 2026: I added two additional photos. While this cutting fluid works good, it’s not as good as WD40 on aluminum. I show the grind I am using on an Atlas 7B shaper. .010” DOC, I was using this product. Towards the end I sprayed some WD40 just to see if the surface finish would improve. You can immediately see the line where WD40 was introduced giving a better surface finish. I just thought I’d share.

Excellent cutting oil great price

Does real good on drill bits and tapping only reason I ain’t given a five stars cause when you put it in a pumpkin can it comes out as foam and don’t do as well but you put it in a squeeze bottle it’s great

I used this cutting oil when drilling through a 7/8” thick plate of steel, and it worked great! I’d definitely buy again!

Works great. Saved my drill bits

It is a convenient sized plastic bottle with a cap opened by depressing one side to open a port on the opposite side, so oil can be dripped onto the workpiece. This suits some jobs like saw cutting or drilling metal, but an added short spout would work better with a lathe.

I'm going to give this 5 stars. I use it in my drill press drilling heavy steel. It is nice and thick and seems to keep the drill bits nice and cool. So far that is the only thing I've used it for but I'm happy with the results and price.

Used while drilling 1/4” steel and it worked like a charm. Didn’t take much and kept but from wearing out.
