I love using this for winter golf. It has kept me very warm.

Helps keep the neck area covered
Very light weight. No lining, would prefer a fleece type lining. Overall it keeps the wind off your ears and neck. Would seem to fit better if it had a drawstring or some Velcro closure. Overall it does keep the heat from escaping.
