Above average radiator that fits the bill for most rigs
Pros: Priced well, high build quality, comes with appropriate mounting equipmentCons: NoneThe PE line of radiators from EK is probably perfect for most people. SE can be too slim, so cooling isn't as effective, and XE is too thick so it limits which cases you can use it in. The PE radiators are 38mm thick, which is perfect for most ATX cases. They're also minimalistic in design so they don't stand out, which is a good thing. It comes with mounting screws, but they require an allen wrench, which is included. There's enough screws to mount the radiator itself and two fans. Even EK claims it does not need to be flushed before using, I would suggest doing so anyway; you never know what's inside and it's better to be safe than sorry. It only takes a few minutes.These radiators should fit most cases designed with water cooling in mind, but double check manuals and reviews to be sure. I'm currently using them in a Fractal Design Define S with no problems, but then again, this case will fit nearly all radiator sizes. I'm using this in a loop with another 360mm and 120mm radiator, and they all fit with no problems. It's suggested that for each component you're cooling, a 120mm radiator should be used, and double that for any overclocked components. I'm cooling a CPU and 2 GPUs, so 720mm of total radiator size is what I'm using for my setup. Temperatures are generally pretty good - the 2 980 Tis hover around 32-35C on idle and go up to about 50C when gaming. The CPU, a 3930k, idles around 40C and shoots up to 60C under load. 40C seems unusually high for that processor, and I was getting the same when using an NH-D14 and H110i GTX. I'm not really sure why, but this is my backup machine so I haven't spent too much time figuring out the problem. I'm going to be moving the water cooling parts to my Broadwell-E rig in a few months once I have all the parts I need.
