Kiss My Face Start Up Exfoliating Face Wash - 4 Ounce

I bought this product after falling in love with the KMF organic pore shrink and decided to spend my money on some other types of washes/masks within the product line that had good reviews for people with acne prone skin.This face wash does not have the micro scrubbies like most exfoliants do so it's perfect for in the morning just to get off any oil from overnight since you aren't supposed to sleep with makeup on you shouldn't need a hard exfoliation first thing. I used almost the whole tube so far and I just love the scent, and the way it makes my skin feel so clean.I will continue to buy even though I did start using the Jojoba and mint facial scrub since it does have the little micro beads in it. What I'll do is use the less abbrasive one in the morning and the stronger one in the evening.Works great---like all the KMF products I wish it lasted longer or was a little cheaper since I used it all within a months time.

I think I'm now a huge convert of Kiss My Face products. I have tried their conditioner and loved it. And this cleanser which I purchased to replace another facewash I used just confirmed the consistency of their quality product line. The cleanser feels refreshing going on the face (has an aloe gel like consistency) and cleans gently yet effectively. My skin feels free of any residue and truly clean, yet soft and moisturized afterward as well. I have also found that out of everything I've used, this cleanser does the best job with the blackheads on my nose. It really does a great job at exfoliating all the dead skin cells away. I have noticed that my skin looks healthier and smoother as well - such I attribute to the exfoliation. The fact that the ingredients are naturally derived was also a big draw for me and I think they did a great job at formulating a cleanser that is gentle, cleanses well, and maintains skin's moisture balance. Very nice purchase overall and I look forward to trying out more of their products if I'm in the market to replace another routine product.

I like how gentle this cleanser is, however, the lemon-lime Sprite smell made me nauseous during pregnancy. I wish it was unscented, since this is a highly recommended product for preggos.

I ordered this thinking it was a regular exfoliating cleanser with small particles like ground apricot seed powder, but it's not like that at all. It's a gel with a strong but nice fresh citrus smell. It cleans and rinses well, and it has made my skin quite soft. Plus it has great natural ingredients. But if you're looking for a mechanical/abrasive exfoliator, this isn't it, fair warning.Update: This has become my favorite face wash. I now only use 'abrasive' exfoliators when my face is really grimy; otherwise, this does the trick. It removes my facial sunscreen and leaves my face feeling refreshed and clean, without residue.

I am in love with this face wash! At 28, I am still fighting stress and hormone-related breakouts, but about a year ago I started to notice that the strong acne products I used in my teens and early twenties were becoming too harsh for my skin. Recently, I started looking for a more gentle, natural face wash that would work with my oily, acne-prone skin. After trying a few products that were too drying or not effective enough I found this face wash. Since the description says it is exfoliating, I assumed it would have some sort of scrubby beads or ground fruit stones in it, but that's not the case. This face wash exfoliates with fruit acid, and it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. While it hasn't yet vastly improved my stubborn complexion, I haven't had any bad reactions, and it makes my skin feel great. The only thing I didn't like about it at first was the strong orange smell, but I've grown used to it and it doesn't bother me at all now. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. It's one of the best face washes I've tried, natural or not, and since I usually buy it from the Vitamin Shoppe at a discounted price, it's affordable.

I would like to start off by saying I have fairly bad acne. The only things that have ever cleared up my face was proativ and hormonal birth control. I am in my mid-20's, and I have long since stopped proactiv (since the birth control kept it mostly under control), but a year ago, I stopped the birth control. My acne wet crazy again. I didn't want to go back to proactiv since it dried out my skin. So, I decided to try something more natural, and less harsh on my sensitive skin. The wash feels great, smells great, and leaves my skin soft. It did help somewhat with the acne, but I'm still experimenting with different brands. Would recommend for anyone who doesn't an acne problem.

I have combination skin with possible rosacea. I'm trying to go all natural with my beauty products but considering my skin has proven to be sensitive to anything with tons of plant extracts it's been difficult. My face would turn neon red and burn. So as you can imagine I was expecting the worst from this product but was pleasantly surprised. I used it for the first time this morning and it left my face feeling clean and not stripped or tight as other reviewers have noted. I also noticed minimal irritation. There was still a little there but it paled in comparison to other products I'd used. This is a wonderful product and I can see myself using it for a good long while.

It's just liquid, no beads are abrasive qualities. Nice enough but not what I wanted. Shouldn't be listed as an exfoliant
