well constructed, heavy enough to withstand wind . Trays are removable and easy to clean, keep rain and hot sun out, seeds stay dry. I like the Two levels. Easy fly through for birds. They adapted quickly. Very stylish. I get many compliments. Excellent purchase. I'm considering another one before winter to keep the freezing rain / snow out

The media could not be loaded.  The birds absolutely love it! It’s so convenient the trays are lightweight! Extremely sturdy! I bought a grill cover for night time as I live in the snowbelt! The trays are lightweight and easy to get in and out! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!

I have JC's ground feeders for my songbirds and doves, but they couldn't protect the songbirds and doves from a hawk in the neighborhood. I was hoping this was the next best thing. It took about 2 weeks for the songbirds to feel comfortable around it, the doves looked at it for an additional 2 weeks and then all of them finally decided to use it! It does protect from rain and snow, but both will still be able to enter the trays to some degree, unless you have it under a covered porch or patio (mine are not).The cupola is a bit difficult to attach at first, until you find exactly where the pilot holes are under the roof to attach it. The double-tiered feeder does take a little extra room if using in a garden space, so take that into consideration - measurements for product are accurate.Overall, it's a welcome addition for our birds and does provide some protection from rain and snow, but you'll still have to remove a small amount of snow from the trays. The ultimate reason for this purchase was to protect the birds and doves from hawks and it has done the job, the hawks, when flying over, are unable to see a bird inside the feeder and therefore will not attempt to land, and their wingspan is too wide to even consider trying to get a bird from the feeder, at least in my case. I'm happy with this purchase!

Did not come with instructions but was not to hard to put the roof on it. Very great birds LOVE it!

I bought this feeder to protect my birds as we have lots of hawks. I had to stop feeding my birds for a week or so and then we put this up. It does protect the birds the way I had hoped. The hawks now can see them but unable to really get them due to the location I put this and the width of the feeder. I absolutely love this. Great job with the design! Thank you...

This feeder is well built, it is light and the materials are of great quality. My wife's goldfinches love this feeder. It is their home. During the rain storm we had here in Thousand Oaks, Ca. it kept the seeds dry. In all, the products of this company are excellent. They are buil with the comfort of the birds in mind.
