Best of Children’s Classics (Set of 5 Books)

This collection or classic children's books was thoroughly enjoyable. I bought it for myself, but will now pass it along to my grandchildren, and could certainly be a gift to anyone at any age. In reading these classics as an older adult, as often is with books read either to us as children by an adult, or read personally, the prose gives one a different perspective.

A great addition to my classroom reading library.

I needed new books for bedtime reading, I'm a homeschool mom and vocabulary and different styles of writing are so important for developing readers. I was excited to start these tonight. We started with The Secret Garden. My 7 and 9 year old girls love it so far and it is easily read by my 9 year old, my 12 year old boy was even into it. The books are definitely not too advanced, the language is colorful and varied, each book has a different style and tone to choose from. I have heard that there are parts of Peter Pan where I will have to skip over, but I do that anyway in books with questionable material so I'm not concerned. It's a great buy, in my opinion.

My six year will love the books.

I am trying to get my son more involved in reading, but my little rugrat prefers for me to read to him. 🤗 He says its only necessary to read in school.😂 As well, its good mother and son bonding and conversation. So he can't wait for me to read a chapter or 2 before he goes to sleep! And just in case he gets to have something to read over the summer vacation at his grandma's house when he takes a break now and then from his video games and everything technology.

Recomiendo estos libros para niños de 8 años en adelante, por que siento que para más chiquitos no les gustaría, no tienen muchas imagenes solo es historia, pero están muy bonitos

I bought these books to catch up on the classics I missed reading as a child now that I am retired. They are so well written and it is as though they were written for adults to read to children. I just love them.
