Can’t go wrong with a set of pro versa Grips

Wow these grips are fantastic. Great quality and the lock in tight to the bar. Would recommend.

I had these in my shopping list for months, unable to justify the money since I am an intermediate lifter, and felt this would be overkill. I was finally able to progress to weight that challenged my grip strength and tried various straps. Too much wrapping and I did not like the fabric. These are easy to use, the leather feels natural, and it is a quick 'placement' rather than the need to wrap the bar. It was hard to imagine how they worked until I had them in hand. Was able to use successfully the very first time without reading the package or watching a video. I added 10 lbs to my deadlift first day, and my rows felt solid, full back and not straining with my grip. If you are wondering if you are not "swole" enough to justify these, stop worrying, I am a mid level middle age woman and these are already upping my game!

I bought these after watching Dr Mike Israetel on the "Renaissance Periodization" YouTube channel.They are a game changer for someone like me, who has relatively weak grip and forearm strength.To give you an example, I used them on my favourite pull exercise (lat pulldowns), and was able to move up from 10 reps to 14 reps of the same weight, the first time I used them. Now, rather than finishing a set with burning forearms, and feeling that the target muscles are under-exercised, I can feel the target muscles are being fully exercised.Going through the three categories......."Value For Money" - these are the top end of the price range, and the premium brand. There are others on the market for less, but I didn't want to compromise on build/material quality. I can't really comment on whether they are as good."Comfort" - they do the job great. I find they catch a bit round my wrists, but this could easily be that they're not broken in properly yet (only used them 4 times so far). I will update in a couple of months."Easy to Use" - they are relatively easy to use, although there is a knack - particularly when doing the second one, because you don't have a spare hand to assist. I found that underhand pulldowns were the hardest to get used to, but once you have the knack, it's fine.Overall, very pleased, and now I have experienced the benefits, I definitely wouldn't want to go back.
